A 16-year-old boy has been arrested over the murder of a woman in a Burka and a young father.
The unnamed teenager was apprehended on the Salary Brook Trail in Colchester the same trail where Saudi student Nahid Almanea was stabbed to death last June at about 11am on Tuesday on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.
Today, Essex Police said he had now been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Ms Almanea and that of James Attfield, who died after being stabbed more than 100 times in a park in the town in March last year.

Stabbed more than 100 times - sounds like a assassin
Actually it sounds more like a psycho than an assassin
As is original assassins weren’t psychopaths?
The modern meaning may have changed, but these Muslim reformers are bringing their faithful back to their roots.
One stab in the right place would sound like an assassin. 100 stabs sounds like someone who was extremely angry with the victim, and is more likely from somebody who knew her than some random stranger.
The original assassins were cool, calm and suicidal professional killers.
Ambiguous headline. I read it as meaning the 16 year old boy was arrested and stabbed 100 times.
At the local golf course, Grandmother of eight shoots hole in one.
“Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.”
The Assassins were the suicide bombers of their time.
Security plans have traditionally depended on discouraging attempts on the target by making it difficult to get away. The Assassins, who had no plans to escape anyway, were thus really, really difficult to protect against.
Yes. Originally from Persia, not surprisingly.
The Assasins were all over the place, what are now Syria, Turkey, Iraq, Persia.
Muslims, yes?
