His name was Sonny Kim. A great guy with a wife and three kids. He will be sorely missed.

Met him down at Lunken Playfield playground some time ago.

Really nice guy. Down to Earth, funny. Took his job seriously but wasn’t egotistical at all.

Just a guy that had a job to do.

Really sad.

I bet this doesn’t get nearly the response that Charleston did.

I wonder which race hustler will be the first to accuse someone of racism for bringing up this incident.

Lived in Anderson Twp. (a Cinci. suburb) for a number of years. Still check out the Enquirer on line from time to time and read about PO Sonny Kim's death yesterday. Sad day for Cincinnati to lose this upstanding law enforcement officer with 27 years on the force. This sort of thing doesn't happen often in Cinci. the last police officer killed in the line of duty I believe was around 2000 or 2001.
