With the Supreme Court increasingly appearing to have made up its mind about SSM the liberals and media are gearing up for a huge party to end all parties. We all know how gracious leftists are in victory so it'll likely be difficult to surf the internet, watch tv, or even listen to the radio or read the newspaper regardless of whether you really cared about the ruling itself for a certain time. Anybody have any plans to take a break from the media or are you just going to weather it? Any tips on what to do until the storm dies down a bit? How long do you think the wait will need to be until people can get back and proceed with their lives?
IBTZ! :)
Well I will be avoiding more than usual, but I do that anyway.
It won’t make any difference to me. I haven’t turned on a television in months, and the websites I visit (including here) and the talk radio I listen to will be quite interesting if the ruling comes down as you expect.
Last year I deleted my Facebook account because I was so sick of the constant stream of Leftist propaganda and talking points coming from my “friends”. I’m glad I got that out of the way before this, Facebook will be an absolute horror show after an affirmative SSM ruling.
I don’t watch TV or read lefty papers anyway
Remember in May 2012, when Obama came out for homosexual marriage?? The media celebrated for an entire week. I expect similar partying for this ruling.
The decision has been made, its just a matter of when they announce it. Isn’t the anniversary of the Stonewall incident coming up? Maybe the court is waiting to announce on that date???
As if there is any doubt about SSM being declared a constitutionally protected civil right. What Obama wants, Obama gets.
Since this is shaping up to be one of their biggest victories in a decade or decades I suspect it could make that look like a single guy blowing a party favor alone compared to New Years at Time Square.
