Rewatch the video. She swung first. She threw the first punch.
Forget for a moment that it glanced off of his face.
Would we still be having this conversation if she had connected and her fingernail, or jewelery would have caused him permanent eye damage?
Both should be charged for assault. She doesn’t get to play the victim here.
Fair is fair.
Good grief!
There’s ALWAYS two parties at fault. Civilization has proven over the centuries that society should put the onus on the male.
It’s not fair to him, but it’s fairest for society over all.
Yep, spot on.
I guess there is a longer video, than the one that I’ve seen posted. I didn’t see her throw a punch, I just saw her walk up to the bar and turn to say something back to him.
Nevertheless, he should not have punched her. Do you agree?
What then smart ass......

Agreed.
So, after she moved up next to the bar, she turned and said something to him. What did he do to let her know he was there? Were his hands on her bottom? Was he pushing up against her or touching her? We can’t see that. Did she say something like:
“Hey, get your hands off my butt! Stop touching me!”
That might explain her response. Then, he moves up to her left and pushes into a that space rubbing up against her. Granted, its a bar, but for a woman unwelcome strangers rubbing up against you might cause you to try and defend herself and your personal space, which he definitely invaded. As far as I am concerned he provoked her by what he did.
It would be interesting to hear what she has to say about it.

Would we be having this conversation if she were a guy?
