Well, I come from that same school of “well, then can I do it til I need glasses?” Glad to see your taking preventative measures without throwing the bacon overboard. You don’t want to get caught like a sinking ship without ballast...save it until the lat trump.

Ditto. This is the best way to cook bacon and avoid the mess. A plus is the fat drains away from the bacon. Makes bacon healthy!

A BACON THREAD!

Lets all sing the "Rub Some Bacon On It" song!

The “Rub Some Bacon On It” Song

911 what's your emergency?
I nailed my finger to a birdhouse accidentally
Do your have some bacon (bacon?)
Bacon, That's right
I have bacon left over from dinner last night
Rub some bacon on it
what?
On your hand just do it
Rub some bacon on it
That's all there is to it?

What if I dropped my phone?
Rub some bacon on it
or encounter my clone?
Rub some bacon on it
I get mononucleosis
Rub some bacon on it
My nude pics get posted

Rub some bacon on it
Rub some bacon on it
Rub some bacon on it
Yeah

My home gets foreclosed
Rub some bacon on it
My cat explodes
Rub some bacon on it
I wake up in a trunk
Rub some bacon on it
My friend goes steampunk
Rub some bacon on it
I meet real pirates
Rub some bacon on it
There's an akward silence

I say something unintentionally racist
Rub some bacon on it
I'm a adult with braces
Rub some bacon on it
I can't swim
Rub some bacon on it
I'm visited by Mr. Timn

Bacon hotline, What’s your problem?
What if I feed the troll?
Rub some bacon on it
I’m attacked by a narwhal
Rub some bacon on it
The apocalypse started
Rub some bacon on it
I think I might have sharted

Rub some bacon on it
Rub some bacon on it
Rub some bacon on it

My sister's dog, Maddie, can't have bacon. Nonetheless she swiped some from the table.

My BIL grabbed her and pulled the bacon out of her mouth and she snapped at him.

My sister was upset that she almost bit.

I said that I'd bite my BIL if he tried to take bacon out of my mouth.

He said "Exactly".

We have a small market nearby with an old fashioned meat counter. They’re always busy and the store survives on it. They only sell the best meat.
They have Platter Bacon for $5.99 lb. thickest I’ve seen And oh soooooo good.

“BIG FAT SURPRISE” By Tina Teicholz. Get the book, read it, and then consume bacon and possibly help your diabetes.

Short story = There is no evidence that shows dietary fat causes high cholesterol or heat disease.

Damn that looks good!! My Dad used to fry lean salt pork with the rind on until it was nice and crisp. I haven’t had that in years.

it’s from a local restaurant although expensive. I always order it but take home half for a killer BLT later that evening.

The BLT being the King of Sandwiches. :o)

This is the exact “technique” I have used for years. Works like a charm.

Yes it does. I'll admit to using the Foreman grill a lot now and I save the bacon grease for eggs and 'flavoring' some things.

Wonder how many people can remember their mother/grandmother having a 3 piece set, on their stove, of salt and pepper shakers and a "grease/lard" canister?

She is a medical writer for the WSJ. Are you aware that our government recently threw out most dietary guidelines on eating fat? An English politician or minister has asked the their government admit that “low fat” was not just wrong advice but that it was harmful and that the government should apologize.

Carbohydrates are the cause of both diabetes and heart disease.
