You jinxed him by talking about it.

LOL, like Clayton was thinking “Oh Crap, some Freeper just posted that I’m pitching a perfect game.”

There's only one thing wrong with Kershaw - the Dodgers.

I hope he pulls it off.

Does it really count if it’s against the Mets?

He's up to 25 consecutive scoreless innings now, so it ain't just Mets.

Greinke, who has 43.2 consecutive scoreless, left the team today because his wife went into labor. That's what separates Kershaw from Greinke: Clayton had the good sense to ensure his baby was born in January.

Not one word is being said about it in the dugout....

What odds am I offered that the Mets win this?

No doubt. But pitching against the Mets doesn't hurt (and I say that as a Mets fan - what a damn waste of pitching talent....).

Dodgers are down to 2 real starters. They’re going to ruin Kershaw’s arm.

Spahn and Sain, then pray for rain.

Doyers certainly would reverse the Kendrick-Heaney trade if they could now. That’s looking worse and worse....but looking great for the real LA team...

Perhaps you’re old enough to remember the Boston Braves’ motto: Spahn & Sain and pray for rain.

“Dodgers are down to 2 real starters. They’re going to ruin Kershaw’s arm.”

The Dodgers are very wary about wearing out Kershaw and Greinke. But they are wiping out the bullpen having only those two as real starters.

They really need to pick up another pitcher. I understand that the following top pitchers are available

Cole Hamels, Johnny Cueto, Mike Leake, Scott Kazmir, David Price, Yovani Gallardo, Tyson Ross, and Andrew Cashner.

If the Dodgers don’t go after one (two?) of those, then they aren’t being serious with their fans.

I think a decent high school pitcher could toss a perfect game against the Mets this season.
