Megyn Kelly's Remarks About Trump on Her Show Tonight
Breibartt Big Government

Posted on 08/10/2015 7:31:17 PM PDT by ElainaVer

Kelly said, “You may have heard that there was a dust-up involving yours truly, and presidential contender Donald Trump. Mr. Trump was upset with a question I asked him at the debate last week about his electability, and specifically comments he has made in the past about women, a few words on that. Apparently, Mr. Trump thought the question I asked was unfair, and felt I was attacking him. I felt he was asked a tough, but fair, question. We agreed to disagree. Mr. Trump did interviews over the weekend that attacked me personally, I’ve decided not to respond. Mr. Trump is an interesting man, who has captured the attention of the electorate, that’s why he’s leading in the polls. Trump, who is the frontrunner, will not apologize, and I certainly will not apologize for doing good journalism. So, I’ll continue doing my job, without fear or favor, and Mr. Trump, I expect, will continue with what has been a successful campaign thusfar. This is a tough business, and it’s time now to move forward. And now let’s get back to the news

of course she wants to forget it and move on since she is going down in the polls and Trump jumped up higher after the debates.

Apparently there is a petition going around to ban her from moderating future debates. It’s almost up to 50,000. Yeesh.

“good journalism”?

America is in decline.
Our most strident enemy is given nuclear weapons and a path for using them against us.
Our debt is approaching 20 million.
Our military is weaker than before World War I.
Our borders are wide open.
Our language and culture are vanishing.
Christians are having their heads cut off.
Race riots are a daily norm.
Babies - human beings - are killed and sold for parts.
Average citizens are persecuted by government agencies for their thoughts or views.
Our allies are leaving us.
Our government has become an oligarchy of Democrats and establishment Republicans deaf to the people.

And “good journalist” Megyn Kelly thinks the most important issue is what Donald Trump said about contemptuous feminazis.

This is one delusional woman.

If she had stuck to being a professional journalist, none of this would have happened. Now she wants to direct others to get back to the news.

Kelly, if you had stuck to real news in the first place, none of this would have happened, and Trump wouldn't have been right to take you out behind the woodshed!

b: Trump got caught PUBLICLY saying that a certain woman on Celebrity Apprentice, (an aging, silicone-inflated, air-headed former Playboy nude model) would look best “on her knees’ (apparently “servicing” him.) How pleased would you be if Trump said those things about your wife, your daughter?

That is false. You need to view the clip. Latoya Jackson Bret Michaels and Brande Roderick were in the board room to find out which one would be fired. Bret Michaels explained to Trump that Brande Roderick got down on her knees and begged Bret to let her do the task that she ultimately failed at.

Trump dubiously said, "excuse me - "you dropped to your knees?" All three confirmed that she had done that and of course Donald Trump could not a very unbusinesslike action stand without a comment. He said with some sarcasm "that must have been a pretty picture, you dropping to your knees." That one innocuous comment after eleven years was all they cane up with to accuse Donald Trump of being sexist.

It was on an entertainment television show. You have to crawl down deep into the gutter to turn that into saying she would look best “on her knees’ (apparently “servicing” him.)

Good point.

A debate should be the same question to all 10 and let the viewers see the differences. Fox and Megyno think their job was to ask “hard-hitting” questions to try and “stump” individual candidates. No. If we had wanted dunking booths we wouldn’t have shown up to watch a DEBATE.

Megyn wanted to be the star of the show, she’s an attention whore.

"Look at the Nixon-Kennedy debate in 1960, does anyone remember who even moderated it ? No, because he was doing his job and the candidates were the focus. "

Keen observation.

The Lincoln-Douglas Debates had no moderation at all as far as I know. They keep becoming less and less like "debates".

Pretty soon where gonna have the likes of Jon Stewart and Jimmy Kimmell doing the moderating.

I wonder who she felt was listening to her. I quit watching her show, Bret Bair’s show, and I did not watch Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace......first time ever in years and years. This bunch has really been disappointing and they doubled down on their “performance” too. I cannot perceive ever watching their shows again. Like Trump said, America does not have the time to be politically correct. We need a fighter and right now he fits the bill. Thank you, Donald.

“A moderator should ask the same question of all of the participants in a debate, and not selectively ambush specific participants. What Megyn Kelly did was insert herself into the debate, and she performed a targeted hit job on Donald Trump. And I am a Ted Cruz supporter.”

Spot on! The debate was all about herself. Most of Megyn’s questions were personal gotcha questions that did not inform anyone on the issues and challenges that are important.

This harpy belongs on the View.

Thank you for that clarification.
Just like the ‘bleeding’ fiasco . . most people formed an opinion without listening to his full 31 minute interview with Don Lemon on CNN.
When he also said that Chris Wallace had ‘blood pouring from his eyes’ the networks conveniently left that portion of his interview out of their attack on Trump that he made sexist remarks to Megyn.

As I posted elsewhere, the president doesn't handle world leaders on a stage with partisan moderators challenging the terms of agreements. World leader negotiating is an entirely different skill, and done in private. You can't infer the performance of one from the other.
