These are just some of the sections of the book that stood out to me:
Chapter One: “Time To Get Tough”:
Time to get tough means that in order to get out of the $19 trillion deficit we have, we have to restore America’s economy through bringing back jobs through policy changes and better trade negotiations. The President doesn’t create jobs, businesses create jobs. The way we grow business is to dump the regulations, corporate taxes and unbalanced trading that have killed business in the U.S. We need a President who understands business and can create such an environment.
Chapter Two: Take the Oil:
Trump believes that to the victor go the spoils. He said our price for toppling Sadam Hussein and enabling a democracy should be paid to us in Oil. Our investment in lives and treasure in Iraq must be repaid.
At home we should be drilling for oil and taking advantage of the fact that the U.S. is the Saudi Arabia of Natural Gas.
Chapter Three: Tax China To Save American Jobs:
China is not our friend. Unless the U.S. corrects course soon China will overtake the U.S. as the world’s largest economy. Obama and his globalist pals don’t want us to know China’s strength. China is already the world’s top manufacturer and exporter. China threatens the U.S. in cyber warfare, currency manipulation, and trade, as well as a fast growing military. Trump says if China doesn’t set a real market value on their currency, we should slap a 25% tax on China’s product.
China is stealing our technology and threatening our national security through cyber warfare. We need a President who will sign bipartisan legislation to force a proper valuation of China’s currency, who will slap a 25% tax on all products entering America if they don’t stop under valuing the yuan. We need a President who will crack down on intellectual property theft, and who is smart and tough enough to recognize the security threat of cyber warfare and take aggressive measures to counteract it.
Chapter Four: It’s Your Money- You Should Keep More Of It:
It is time to get tough on those who outsource jobs overseas and reward those companies who stay loyal to America. If an American company outsources its work, they get hit with a 20% tax. If a company who made the mistake of sending their business overseas but now want to come home, they pay zero tax. Countries should start paying 20% to access our markets. We should adopt the 1,5,10,15 percent individual tax plan. • Up to $ 30,000, you pay 1 percent
• From $30,000 to $100,000, you pay 5 percent
• From $100,000 to $1 million, you pay 10 percent
• On $1 million or above, you pay 15 percent
Lower taxes will fuel the economy from the private sector.
Chapter Five: A Government We Can Afford:
Leveling the playing field with China for a decade will be the equivalent of one fifth of our debt. If we hadn’t elected the community organizer, it would have been one third of our debt. Cutting out waste and fraud. Medicare and SSI fraud is enormous. Add in several hundred billion a year from becoming energy independent. prosecute those committing fraud and recouping those billions will help us reign in debt. <
Chapter Six: Strengthen American Muscle:
1. Only go to war to win. 2. Stay loyal to our friends and suspicious of our enemies 3. Keep the technological sword sharp 4. See the unseen. Prepare for threats before they materialize. 5. Respect and support our present and past warriors. Much of Obama’s foreign policy must be reversed. The gutting of our military must be corrected at once. 6. American interests come first. No apologies 7. Maximum firepower and military preparedness.
Chapter Seven: A Safety Net, Not A Hammock:
Welfare is not an acceptable lifestyle. Tying welfare to work is an absolute necessity. Drug testing for public assistance is necessary. Crack down on fraud and abuse and prosecute offenders. President Reagan said it best, “Welfare’s purpose should be to eliminate as far as possible, the Need for its existence.”
Chapter Eight: Repeal Obamacare:
Obamacare puts small businesses on life support. One of the most important initiatives for the next President is the repeal of Obamacare. Interstate competition should be a prominent part of any replacement plan, with real tort reform to bring down costs to consumers.Chapter Nine: It’s Called Illegal Immigration For A Reason:
Tax payers are stuck with hundreds of billions of dollars every year to pay for illegal immigration. Americas prisons house 351,000 criminals who should never have been in this country to begin with. One of every three prison inmates is Latino and three fourths of these are here illegally.
The devastation to our economy and to our citizens occurred because our federal government failed to enforce our laws. Americans are being viciously attacked and our national security is more compromised by the day. We have 25 million citizens who need jobs and 7 million immigrants holding American jobs.
Trump’s Five Point Plan:
1. Build a Wall that Mexico will pay for, either through tariffs or negotiations..
2. Hire 25,000 new border agents.
3.Enforce our law and deport illegals beginning with criminals and those on public assistance.
4. Overturn Obama’s insane ICE recommendations for illegal immigrant detention centers from the resort like accommodations he mandates.
5. Rescind the Dream Act
Chapter Ten: The America Our Children Deserve:
Barack Obama has saddled our children with more debt than we accumulated in 225 years in America. Obama believes there is nothing exceptional about America. We like the vision our founding fathers created in the Constitution.
“ We must elect a leader so our children and our grandchildren will inherit an America as free and safe as the one we grew up in. The price of failure is too great- we have to succeed. The fate of freedom rests on it. How can we think about the hundreds of thousands of soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines who have died for our freedom and way of life and not be ashamed at how we’ve allowed their gift to be trashed and abused? It is a total disgrace. If we’re going to turn this thing around, we have to do it fast.
It’s time to get tough. The time is now.”

I’d like to highlight chapter 2 - take the oil. Some may think this is an awful thing to do, however, if you read the Bible - it is entirely Scriptural to take spoils of war, only when God is given the glory for it. So, I’m wondering if Trump is basing this on a Biblical principle. By the way, the Bible uses the term, “plunder.” Sound familiar?
Trump believes this is owed the U.S. for the lives and treasure we lost removing Sadam. He may not have thought of this scripturally, but you make a good point.

Forget chapter 2: Take the Oil. How about “DRILL HERE”? We have more oil, coal and natural gas than most of the planet. Add more nuclear plants and viola, cheap energy.

I don’t know which edition it is that is being quoted but it is the same as what’s in my 2011 edition.
The 2011 version. I ordered the new version from Amazon, but this is what I got. However, the Afterword is titled “The Press and the Presidency”. I will continue to look for the newly released book, and any differences, I will try to outline as well.

This was my fifth Trump book. He is a most impressive man.
