Why Donald Trump is gaining momentum
FayObserver.com ^ | Friday, September 4, 2015

Last Saturday's editorial cartoon by David Horsey portrayed Donald Trump as a Neanderthal and those who generally support him as fellow ignorant cave dwellers.

Also in the cartoon, two members of the elite class stand off to the side explaining how gauche it is for anyone to go against the benevolent leadership of the select few. How dare the great unwashed defy the rising tide of utopian statism? The only thing missing from the cartoon is GOP leadership standing around in an oblivious fog. Horsey is consistent. He remains a clueless liberal.

Next debate is in less than two weeks.

This one on CNN.

Which I now am watching, since I haven't watched Fox since their spectacle.

Even once. Since that partian catastrophe.

The people overwhelmingly elected GOP candidates in 2010 and 2014 to stop the Obama transformation of America into an all-powerful federal Leviathan. The GOP candidates thumped their chests and proclaimed if the people voted them into control of the House and Senate, they would repeal and replace Obamacare, block Obama's amnesty, rein in federal spending. They would pass a strong border enforcement bill, stop fiat rule by executive orders and rein in the EPA.

Boehner, Cantor, McCain, McConnell, and their minions like Renee Ellmers, postured and preened before the cameras. When the time came to do something substantive they rolled over on their backs like beaten dogs.

The betrayal of the voters by the "Republican Party" is the greatest political crime in the history of the United States.

Maybe they should sign a pledge saying they’ll do what they campaigned to do. After all, that is similar to what the GOP-E is asking of The Donald.

This cartoon is excellent
It clearly shows that the establishment is not just attacking Trump, they are attacking us
Imagine an older white businessman billionaire trying to make himself into a one of the people in the middle class !

Trump could not buy this image but the establishment has bestowed it on him. awesome. Just like his excellent choice of theme song. He is going to have seniors and millennialis all singing along with Twisted Sister

I was at a dinner and in the middle of another conversation a woman burst out with, “I’m so sick of political correctness. Say what you will about Trump, he’s taking it on and, damn, somebody needs to.” So, the conversation turned to Trump. I suggested that his appeal was Americanism. She said, “Damn right! I’m tired of the giant committee that never makes up its mind. We know what’s right, let’s just do it!”

I hope that’s the general feeling. Jeb Bush’s complete lack of appeal is probably due to his embrace of everything except America and American values. It’s time to get back to American exceptionalism and start repairing the damage wrought by Democrats for the last fifty years.

The betrayal of the voters - twice - by the "Republican Party" is the greatest political crime in the history of the United States.

In just one generation, America has completely lost its way.

We have demolished what used to be our own national borders, we have shipped (gobs) of formerly American jobs to China, to Mexico, to every other country.

We have run our country right into the tank. The GOP is every bit as at fault as the democrats.

What Trump is saying, which is true, is we need to once again be for AMERICA.

Trump has an excellent education. Supurb.

Trump is on the right path. He is saying America needs to be for America.

Nobody else is saying that. Nobody.

“What Trump is saying, which is true, is we need to once again be for AMERICA.”

One of my sisters, who came of age in the hippy-sixties, felt huge guilt for our “luxurious” lower middle class upbringing. She wanted to give away everything to those who had less. Now she’s in her sixties and a member of a church that won’t help anybody unless they give up cable, the cell phone, smoking, drugs and drinking. Of the people who apply for the church’s generous help, which often includes finding or refurbishing a home and a job, seldom does anyone take them up on it.

The point is, she has turned around from the guilt requiring she give away everything, like the liberals who gave away our jobs, to giving away nothing without conditions. Conditions, which the recipients mostly refuse. I’d like to see more American centric trade. That’s why I opposed giving the trade negotiation carte blanch to Obama. He’s a far worse anti-American liberal than my sister ever was.

Check out the cartoonist’s other cartoons. He is a big time Leftist. Believe me when I say, the cartoon in question is what Horsey thinks of the rest of us.

“In just one generation, America has completely lost its way.”

As Reagan warned could happen. “...just one generation away...”

I’m so glad the subject of English-only is now on the table; I was hoping it would come up. It’s important. Now we have to figure out a way to end the Friday night stampedes to Western Union offices so the illegals can ship OUR money to Mexico. There has to be a way to catch those wires before they’re sent.

From the description in the article, it sounds like a great cartoon. Do you have a link to it? Thanks.

Seize the money going out of the nation—use it to rebuild the military! Spanish? Heck we have more Spanish Cable than English Now! At least they should be subtitled so we Americans can tell what they are saying. One thing—they do have some mighty pretty women on Spanish Language TV.
