Ugh. Very frustrating for a guy that wouldve been QB3 if they had kept a 3rd RT @AdamSchefter: Eagles released QB Tim Tebow, per source.

You can bet the homos and lesbos had something to do with this. They’ve got more powah in the world today than Adolf Hitler ever had. Friggin’ Nazis.
Would you have taken him? I mean is he a better player then those he kept? The problem is that you are looking at it from a guy who is a christian, not a person who has to run a billion dollar team. Your emotions are too invested in the situation and not using your brain. That happens often when you are blinded by performance over a nice guy. RESULTS are the only thing that was decided here. Tim was given numerous chances.....way more then most players get. We cannot make football an affirmative action program where a good guy gets to play because he happens to have some morals. We don’t want anything to be that way. Tim would probably make a great Priest though.
I had a feeling this was going to happen. Maybe the Eagles will pick him back up later in the season.
I’ve been reading all week how well his was doing. Personally, I don’t watch that gangstah sport anymore and don’t care. However, I’ve been reading a lot in the “media” how well he was doing this year. I guess the “media” was lying again.
just a new mountain to climb. go Tim! may God continue bless you in whatever you do.
He played in two games IIRC. In the first he didn’t do very much, and in the finale he was playing against the Jets’ third string.
Cool.
Baloney. The openly gay player (Wallace?) who couldn’t make it in the NFL went to Montreal and finally quit on his own.
This is because at his core, deep down, his first instinct on any given passing play is to run.
At the college level, there would almost always be some irregularity in defensive positions along the wall of the pocket that he could exploit for a few yard gain with his legs.
That isn't the case in the NFL but his mind still spends a few hundred milliseconds looking for such running gap before switching focus to his receivers at which point, he hasn't spent enough time reading the defensive secondary before he has to throw the ball. His final thought when throwing is that an incomplete is better than an interception.
If there wasn't so much drama surrounding him, he might do fine on a practice squad, or 3rd string slot for a couple of years during which time he could develop the sort of instinctive play necessary for success in the NFL.
