A bear cub wandered the streets of downtown Colorado Springs on Monday, before entering a local pizzeria and settling down for an afternoon nap.
The sighting and subsequent invasion into Louie's Pizza's prep room was one of several bear incidents to make headlines in 2015 and keep Colorado Parks & Wildlife officials springing into action.
Matt Robbins, a spokesman with Parks & Wildlife, didn't have statistics Monday for this year's bear sightings in the Pikes Peak region. He seemed a bit overwhelmed, however, when asked if occurrences are on the rise.

I have Seen quite a few of ‘em this year up here moving about, a lot more than usual. Fun to watch them do what Bears do......from a distance of course!

Word is that the college cafeteria was serving Michelle Obama’s “Healthy Choice” foods, which drove the bear to run to a pizza shop.
I would have been more impressed if they had used "sloth" or "sleuth", or even "pack" instead of "hoard", to join in with the bear subject.

Fortunately stupid voters modified the state constitution to ban the most effective method of hunting bears. The problem has been increasing ever since.
The increase of the predator bear population has been massive since the flood of new , invading, city lefties from other states and Mexicans .
*Bear Bump* The Black Bear Hunt in northern Wisconsin this season has been good so far. Five bear in five days; unheard of!

Ha! Yeah those Bear/Selfie folks are nuts!!!!!! When I am outside and I hear, or get that feeling, one of ‘em is near/around or there......and I turn around and see a MONSTER sizing my old bones up, it his away I go back inside and fast! I’m always well armed when working outside tho. Heck, I like Bears! They are just Bears being Bears up in the Mountains after all. They are on the move now, getting in big meals and searching for this winter’s place to snooze!
Better the “Freshman 15” than the immersion in commie-nism.
