Carson won, because his disastrous immigration views were not exposed, and because Trump kept derailing his own message with snipes.

Even so, I do think Trump is sorta sabotaging himself by getting caught up in little battles that distract from his big winning fireworks, which are:
1. I hate anchor babies
2. I hate that we have no border WALL
Cruz got short-changed.
Carly made some good fireworks with the PP babies cri-de-coeur.
Hugh Hewitt didn’t ambush Trump at all —REALLY SURPRISED ME.
Deep in my heart I think Cruz performed best, didn’t get bogged down in the early stupid food-fight, later showed good oratory + dramatic presentation, good command of issues.
STUPID AWARD - Jeb for gushing over how dreamy John Roberts is..?!?!?!? Wow.
Eye-rolling award - CNN for picking such a super GOPe audience and for trying so hard to get Trump and Carson to fight, which they didn’t.

Hewitt knows better than try that again, Trump would have ruined his life.
