They are all too expensive, and will all be obsolete in 4 years anyway.
I’ve bought cars for less that lasted longer. But there are people that eat these things up.
Wish I could afford one of those Surface Pros. I’m stuck with a slow as molasses and pretty much obsolete I-Pad 2.
So other than the detachable screen being a tablet (a feature costing & explaining the $200 difference), the MS Surface Book is at best no different than a MacBook Pro.
They really don’t compare except on price. It would be a valid comparison if apple dropped the price by 35% or so. Apple will be announcing their new model in a month or two unless they really screwed the pooch and were blindsided.
For me it is compelling.
I could use it for astrophotography and keep me from moving my docked laptop around.
I have an 11 inch Galaxy tablet but I need it to be more like a PC.
What I’d like to see is what the price does in 12-18 months.
Clearly Surface Book is the better laptop. It will be interesting to see how others catch up and innovate. When will Apple add touch to OSX?
