They have a form of body dismorphic syndrome (I think it's called). In other forms people want to lose limbs or vital organs like their eyes to feel "normal". They are rightly considered disturbed and people who need help to overcome this. But if it's their sexual organs they are clebrated and enabled.
If people with mental issues are denied proper counseling and instead are encouraged, should we be surprised that it often spirals out of control?

Happened in my hometown,too, a transgender steered head-on into a semi-truck to end his/her life. That more than convinces me it’s not natural, that they’ve got mental issues and need to sort that out. There may never ever be any relief for them. I don’t know. I feel badly for them, but I know glamorizing and normalizing it is not going to fix it.

My personal opinion is that people who want to tell them their gender/ sexuality “choice” is all OK only exacerbates the problem. They make the change or exercise the “choice” and it STILL doesn’t make them feel fulfilled or happy. . . so they kill themselves.
I have heart disease. A political agenda will not cure what ails me . . . neither will it cure these poor souls.
