Bad flu shots. Two people in San Angelo, TX recently got flu shots and were hospitalized the next day. One was a 9 year old girl who received a flu shot and was in critical condition in the hospital the next day. Another was a working woman who received the flu shot and was hospitalized the next day.
Wonder if this was a bad batch that was local or have there been other cases in Texas or nationally?
I had a reaction to a shot, around 1969 or so. It lasted about two days, and was gone. I really didn't want to get another shot the next year, but I did, and, as far as I can remember, I never had another reaction.
Must be why I don’t get the flu. The last shot 4 years ago made me so sick I lost 10 lbs and ended up in the ER for a IV for dehydration. Not had one since. Especially as I’m 67 and they want to force the Super Flu shot on me. I’m considered high risk on top of age, as I have a leaky heart valve, not bad enough to fix yet. And I’m not allergic to eggs. The last 4 left big welt on my arm that hurt for days.
Yeah she gets the regular flu shot, she never gets the shot with the added stuff, just the regular flu shot

Had a flu shot many years ago and my arm swelled, turned red, and I got the flu, was told never to take one again. Had a tetanus shot years ago, arm swelled, turned red, told never to take one again. I don’t take a flu shot due to that and stay close to home during flu season and wash my hands a lot during that time.
When I was younger, I swore I only got the flu in the years I got the flu shot. Now that I’ve aged, I get the shot every year. Spouse and I got ours in late August and no reaction whatsoever. 30-something son had last month and no problem.

If someone dear to you suffers from depression and you can't induce her or him to get some sun every day, convince him to do the D-3 at that 10k level. I just watched it work on a fellow with PTSD from three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. We are both security guards at a shipyard. I watched him go deeper and deeper into depression over a year . He reached a point where I thought he was dangerous to himself or to people around him. He carries a Glock and was getting crazy with it. I finally convinced him to take the D-3 "for flu" because he had got a bad case. we did the mega dose that clears up a case of flu, in my experience (x3), in 12 hours. I told him he had to continue a "maintenance dose" for ten days. When I saw him three days later he was flu free and a normal guy. After the ten days I told him about the effect of sunshine/vitamin d on depression- he is a night shift person so gets no sun- and now he keeps taking the D-3. The depression is gone. I don't hear about or see the Glock any more. No more PTSD.

Back to reality...never had a flu shot, never will.
Pity for those who take the shots instead of the summer sunshine and winter D-3 supplements. The shots vary from minimally effective to 70% or so each year according to the NIH. The Vitamin D is 100% and good for ALL seasonal viruses. A megadose of D-3 in my experience (x3 with other people) is effective in ending a case of flu no matter how severe in under 12 hours.
I have been taking 5000 IU of d3 for years...just recently ‘upgraded’ to the Vitamin d3 produced by Innate Formulas. Pricey and hard to find, but their formula incorporates k1 and k2, and is worth every penny.
Many people in the medical community are forced to take the flu shot. I noticed this year that the cartel seems to be bending a bit...more people being granted ‘exemptions’ of one kind or another, other employees fighting back in court. There has been some serious blowback.
The D3 pills we take are labeled 1000 IU (25mcg) per pill. 10,000 IU per day is 10 such pills, and 10,000 mcg would be 400 such pills. I doubt whether anyone actually takes 10,000 mg of D3 per day.
Personally, I take 2 or 3 if I remember (most days not), and I haven’t had the flu for decades. No flu shots ever.
Interesting about the PTSD. I’m doing a supplement and dietary protocol for a recent Cancer diagnosis. The docs aren’t happy, but they can’t nail down a precise diagnosis or primary. They’re calling it poorly differentiated neoplasm of unknown primary. Dozens of pathologists have looked at my slides and I’ve had three proclamations from three different highly respected institutions: uterin sarcoma, osteo sarcoma, and epithelial carcinoma. So far all tests show no more Cancer in my body, although I had a ct scan Thursday and I’m still waiting on those results (praying for clean scan!). The one thing the docs can agree on is that I should have chemotherapy. I keep saying no. It’s an adventure, but I have God on my side!
