They're still in Valley Ranch, until they move to Frisco in a year or two. They've been mediocre for so long, that nobody cares.
This year's on Jerry, I don't want to hear any more excuses about injuries. He started off the year with a $2 billion franchise, a running back with a two-bit brain, and a backup QB not worth two bits.
They are still only a game out...if they can beat Philly, they still have a decent chance at winning the division, even with only 7 or 8 wins, because if they sweep the Redskins, they would own the tiebreakers over all of the other NFC East teams.
Agreed, they’re not out of it by a long stretch. I do think they need to win at least 1 of the next 2 games. Even with Romo, they still have tough matchups against the Packers and Jets. And the Miami game won’t be a gimme either.
Even Tampa isn’t a gimme, Atlanta found that out.
And you can’t just blame it on Romo being out, 3 of those 5 losses were very winnable, if the defense and special teams played at last years’ level.
Agreed again. But they still had 500 yards of offense against the Giants. With Romo, they win that game - and the Seattle game, likely the Atlanta game and maybe even New Orleans. They’d be 6-1 or 5-2 right now and in commanding position of that division.
That’s the thing that bums me out the most.. it’s like a perfectly set up season gone to waste.
The Cowboys are building a new practice facility in Frisco. It’s being called The Ford Center or some such name.
And probably would still have a better record than the AFC South winner.
Is he taking Dez’s monkey with him?
