A jury decided Wednesday that a 29-year-old self-styled pimp should be sentenced to death for killing three people by opening fire into a moving vehicle after a dispute at a hip-hop event at a posh Las Vegas Strip resort.
Ammar Asim Faruq Harris was not in the courtroom when relatives and friends of the victims sobbed and shouted after the verdict was read Wednesday in Clark County District Court.

Correct verdict. Shame that it won’t be carried out for 20 years.
Like it will ever be carried out. In the old days one to two weeks, and often because they had to build a gallows.

The wife and I were in Las Vegas for a few days and I remember when this happened. We were up late and actually heard a loud noise not far off (we were staying at The Platinum). It was obvious something big had happened it was so loud. The next morning we found out this had happened.
Unbelievable.
