I had no intention of casting doubt about Holodomor. It was in fact genocide by Russia under Stalin.

BUT, I feel it is appropriate to caution about a writer with admitted Leftist perspective when it is posted on FR.

I even questioned the writer directly about her perspective. Did so on Twitter. Have yet to receive a reply.

This conflates the USSR, ruled by an anti-natioalist multi-ethnic Communist party whose dictator was a Georgian with "Russia".

The Russians were also starved to death by the Communist party dictatorship as were people in the 'Stans (famine was in the 'Stans well after WW2).
