A person who owns a gun gets to decide every day whether to carry or not. A person who doesn't own a gun might decide to get a gun some day, but he won't have it on the day he wants it and might not get one at all.

I suspect that the attacks in France are going to push gun sales to yet new highs immediately and for many months to come. Ammo is liable to be in short supply as well.
