For the NFL, halftime is the Superbowl’s great money spinner, and it is made all the better by expanding the audience demographic to include more women, teens, and non-sports fans. The halftime entertainment is selected to do just that.

i agree with you. I didn’t see the ceremony when Brett’s number was retired. The NFL network also ran a special about how Green Bay fans turned on him when he went to the Vikings. I might catch them on Youtube, even though, like you, I’m not a Packers fan.
My husband got me into football. I wish I’d been a fan growing up so I could have shared it with my father.
He fell off the wagon. They had to cancel their last tour because he couldn't stay sober.
