Ted Cruz and every other leading GOP candidate
are doing better against Hilary Clinton than Trump is, so you are whistling in the wind.

If Levin and Rush can’t criticize somebody for sounding like a Democrat three times in one weekend, then conservative talk radio is dead.

“And Limbaugh and Levin should not have joined in. This is a surprising mis-step all around. The media caught them.

Limbaugh and Levin behaved like a mother fighting for her kid’s respect. Evidently, they don’t think Cruz is capable of fighting his own battles.

“Cruz and Trump could end it today by making a mutual respect statement (as they have done before) and saying “we refuse to be goaded into a fight by the media”

That will probably be the case. However, I think Trump talked again about Cruz’s lack of judgment last night, a topic launched against Trump by Cruz.

“Stephen Hayes suggested this could signal a change in the race for Trump if Limbaugh and Levin (and other conservative radio hosts) start advocating for Cruz over Trump as the only true conservative between them.”

Hayes is the one who hysterically shrieked that Trump had “blown up” his own campaign when he criticized McCain. Hayes hates Trump with a blinding passion.

When your celebrity candidate starts trashing T.E.A. Party Conservatives like Cruz, Levin & Limbaugh by extension for saying the same, it's plainly clear Trump is off course.

Cruz is surging in Iowa and I see panic in the Trump camp if he has to spout GOPe Talking Points against Cruz.

Yeah, Rush and Levin are now the RINO’s good guys. At least until Trump and Cruz are gone.

People who are not now and never have been President of the United States are capable of giving good advice.

Rush & Levin pointing out Trump is sounding like John MeCain and the Republican Establishment is point on!

I don't see it. Trump was talking about Cruz's relationship with his own party. Cruz didn't call a Democrat a liar, it was his party leader.

So how is that like McCain or reaching across the aisle?

I can understand the criticism, it is the venom they spewed that surprised me.

The MSM orchestrared circular firing squad of conservatives begins in earnest. Two viable candidates. Take out either one, and the election goes to hitlery.

The leftists ALWAYS telegraph who they fear the most, and they ABSOLUTELY cannot allow either Cruz or Trump to succeed at the nomination.

This is why they’re currently going for the throat with their divide and conquer, he said/she said, taken out of context attacks.

Don’t fall for it again, there’s too much at stake to lose.

Rush and Levin both fibbed on that. Trump did not say walking across the aisle.

The Media making a mountain out of a mole hill is par for the course for any commentary on the position and disposition of the Republican candidates.

Its what’s to be expected actually, since there’s no way Trump or Cruz can get this well known as candidates without their being some commentary on what they say and do. Rush had a good point about what Trump said. Is that going to change people’s opinion on Trump? Probably not, unless there’s a change in the impression that Trump is not a fighter.

I don’t think any of this is unexpected when the primaries are now beginning to solidify.

“When your celebrity candidate starts trashing T.E.A. Party Conservatives like Cruz”

Who was it that decreed that Cruz shall NOT be criticized? Cruz questioned Trump’s judgment on being commander-in-chief, first. So now, Trump is returning the favor. Should they not be allowed to work it out themselves?

When Trump actually pins Cruz down on some VOTES he cast, it won’t be so easy for Cruz to wiggle out. So far, Trump is holding his fire.

It isnt the general election.

Why wouldn’t they be? The media doesn’t have to destroy anyone when they dont have a 100% clear idea of whom the nominee is.

It’s a question of which one is most likely going to withstand the barrage and give it back to them harder.

Mich McConnell is a liar and Ted Cruz, Mike Lee are the only ones fighting back against the GOPe.

You are OK with Trump calling Ted Cruz a maniac?

...support Ethanol subsides, like Trump?

And then there is the comment:

"We're doing really well with the evangelicals," Trump told the crowd. "And, by the way - and, again, I do like Ted Cruz, but not a lot of evangelicals come out of Cuba, in all fairness. It's true."

What the hell does that mean?

I have listened to Rush for a very long time, since 88. There is no reason for a walkback, rarely if ever is.

It ain’t decreed, it’s just good advice. That is, if you want a snowball’s chance in hell of winning conservative votes.

It’s not quite as bad as, say, trashing Reagan or Barry Goldwater, but he is almost as well liked as they are.

It could be an oblique reference to the fact that Ted’s father, speaking for Ted’s Senate campaign, said Ted is an “anointed king” whose role is to distribute the spoils. That isn’t a Biblical concept, nor is it mainstream evangelical.
