It seems to me that Rush spends a lot of time on his program almost daily defending Trump against the establishment and the media.

No Rush and Mark lost it yesterday. Trump and Cruz were over it and not even mentioning it but Rush and Mark went Defcon 4 over a few powder puff pokes between Cruz and Trump. It was stupid.
Cruz said Trump didn’t have the judgment to be President he didn’t trust Trump’s finger on the nuclear button and Trump said Cruz didn’t have the judgment to be President and went manic in the Senate. So basically the same exact BS stuff. It was a non event.

Privacy was Cruz’s intent. That was what was in his heart. It went public, and so, of course, Trump has to answer it. I am sure you are familiar with gossip that goes public, and the damage it causes. People will quickly and furiously respond to gossip when they hear it spoken behind their back.
Hannity just played the recording, and claimed he just couldn’t see anything in the statement.
I will make a prediction: Tonight, the moderators, trying to get something going between Cruz and Trump, will quote the salient parts of that quote to Cruz and ask him about it. Then they will ask Trump to respond. The leftists know exactly and will admit what Cruz was saying. It amazes me that some conservatives claim to not be able to see it. I also predict that there will not be any fireworks between Cruz and Trump.
