Another Freak telling us what to eat
I don't see it that way. I see a guy who wants to offer a product to a market that he believes will buy what he's selling.
Maybe he will be successful and make a profit. Maybe he won't and he'll go out of business.
That's how it's supposed to work. I don't see a problem with this at all, although I can't imagine ever becoming a customer (but who knows? Maybe I'll take a bite and be hooked).
What problem do you have with this? Nobody is forcing you to buy or eat this stuff. If they ever do, I'll be on your side.
But I applaud what he's doing and wish him well.
This actually sounds like an indictment of vegan and vegetarian foods, which meat eaters have realized for decades are actually crap; he’s implicitly saying the fake meat stuff around now is no good. And he’s right. It’ll be fine as long as his efforts rely on the voluntariness of meat consumers to try the stuff. But history suggests a new version of PETA on the horizon will likely slither out from under a rock when it doesn’t produce the desired results.
