Personally, I am very torn and upset about such a situation.
It’s good to see the father in the situation wanting to be involved in his child’s life. But if the relationship between the split couple and family is so tense that there won’t be a good relationship with the father, what can be done? I don’t have any answers. Just expressing frustration that these things happen more than anything.
Not to suggest a trailer-park scenario, but this is mostly gossip stuff over a young gal who has gotten involved with two guys and walked away in each case with a kid from each guy. If this were my daughter, I’d be having a heart-to-heart chat and convey some wisdom that you’d best find less drama in relationships.
And it must be absolutely detrimental to the children, even if they were stand up guys.
We really need to bring back the concept of shame.
Bristol needs to keep an aspirin in her purse.
Good for Dakota Meyer! He’s doing what a loving father should do. He’s asking to be an equal parent to his child.
Isn’t that we want?
And he’s looking out for the financial interests of his daughter.
Isn’t that what a responsible father should do? Or a responsible mother?
Fortunately, if Bristol and Dakota are the loving parents we all hope they should be, they should both be eager to financially support their daughter and they can ensure that by having a judge include an equitable child support schedule (whether Bristol pays Dakota or Dakota pays Bristol) in the official child custody documents.
Dakota is being responsible by making any agreement legally binding. Why would Sarah find fault in that? It’s the responsible adult thing to do.
Bristol’s 25 years old. Why is her mom publicly involved in this?
Bristol needs to grow up and handle her business.
Bristol Palin makes dirt-bag choices in the men she chooses.
I'm glad we have Donald Trump running. He's had a couple of divorces but without the drama. He seems to have maintained decent relations with his ex's and his children have turned out great.
