A more detestable regime than Saudi Arabia could not be found. Arguably the most repressive regime on earth. An absolute monarchy. A Wahhabist theocratic nightmare that arms ISIS. Only North Korea may be worse, and North Korea does not put women in burqas or have any areas where female genital mutilation (FGM) is practiced. It is a close call. At least North Korea does not ban alcohol.

Reposting from the same sorta thread from last night:

I hope I live to see the day the spoiled princes and kings of Saudi Arabia and tore from their palaces by the very terrorists that funded them and are dragged into the city square in Riyadh and given a complementary neck-ectomy by the very radicals they have enabled for so many years.

It would make a great cautionary tale for any other regime out there thinking about funding Islamic ideology around the world.

It’d be sweet justice to see members of the Royal Family, House of Saad swinging from lamp posts.

Give it back to the Hashemites and have Abdullah stamp out Wahabbism.

I’m sure Jordan wouldn’t mind being part of a new Arabia.

When they say “heads will roll” in saudi, it isn’t a metaphor.

Since the Royal Family like s holding hands, maybe GWB can hold one hand and Obama the other as they kneel, head down waiting for their heads to get lopped off!

There are 2000 members of the royal family. I m sure they all have passports. They will flee. Take their oil off the market. Then what happens?

Well their best oil customer going forward is China.

You know, that wonderful country with Mafia business practices and 1.5 billion expendable people to enforce them.

As was the case in other parts of the region the civilized world should be careful of what it wished for.I,for one,can easily imagine a worse regime ruling Saudi Arabia than the current crowd.

Re “There are 2000 members of the royal family”.

Really gives new meaning to the saying “Who’s your daddy?”

The Economist had similar write-up recently, suggesting the end of the Sauds, and the new 30-year old prince selling off of ARAMCO.

If you don’t like Saudi Arabia you can sell everything you own and move to Oman, the Emirates, etc.
