It appears as if Donald Trump is more popular on Free Republic than Ted Cruz. Perhaps we should keep that in mind when people start calling for Trump supporters to be banned for not supporting Ted Cruz? just sayin”.

Punctuation added to one’s vote negates that vote.

Misspelling the name of one’s candidate negates that vote.

Correct?

I'm not completely sure about that, but it's my guess, yes. Best ask Doughty, though.

Misspelling the name of one's candidate negates that vote. Correct?

I'm almost certain that's affirmative. Doughty lists every candidate's name in the top post, and asks participants that they type them just that way.

Yep, although Trump's margin of support isn't as great here, as it is among registered/likely Republican voters who've been polled.

Fact is, Trump is dominating nearly every demographic that's been polled so far. That's not to say that he out-polls Hillary or Bernie among Democrat voters, but of those Dems who are thinking of jumping ship in this election, Trump is, far and away, their first choice.

There is no accounting for taste. Trump is a businessman, who wants what he wants and will do anything necessary to achieve those goals.

We have had eight years of a very similar mind-set in the Oval Office and I personally do not want a repeat.

The time to battle Hillary or Bernie will come and Trump has demonstrated that he can and will battle. And Bernie and Hillary are both vulnerable in their own ways and neither of them has had to stand on a national stage in front of the whole country and defend themselves against against a determined opponent armed with the truth. We’ll see what happens.

and will do anything necessary to achieve those goals.

It may very well be the kind of a fight that requires that sort of commitment.

A period will be forgiven. It’s intent neutral. It doesn’t inspire others to one-up.

An exclamation point, does inspire others to one-up.

An exclamation point disqualifies your vote.

Capitals or calling any attention to your vote does also.

Vote Name

If you misspell a name, my software will know it. There will be one unaccounted for entry.

When this happens it can be hard to spot the infraction out of 250 to 400 names.

I sort by name, and they immediately stand out.

I had one person post Vote: Trump.

It was a mistake, but it took me a few minutes to find it.

If I find a misspelled name, and there were no other problems, I will correct it. I’m not trying to be unfair to anyone. I just don’t want folks inspiring a competition to see who can be most creative with the entries.

I need to count this stuff. I need conformity to do that in a reasoned amount of time.

It is disturbing to see you compare Trump to Obama.

What has Obama ever accomplished other than to have the White House handed to him on a silver platter?

Trump has achieved for forty years. He worked hard and produced.

Come on, lighten up a bit.

In terms of achievement, you are correct.
However, I was referring to the various personality traits that Obama and Trump share, imo.

Narcissism runs rampant in both men.

I agree, but my concern is Trump’s willingness to make a deal just to get something done.

He may do so thinking he won, but in reality got reamed out.
I don’t want to hear the word compromise or the phrase deal-making.

I am freakin’ tired of the sniping, the abuse, the mud-slinging, and the general idiocy of this whole Trump vs. Cruz thing. If there was EVER a time where conservatives needed to unite behind someone, this is it. And...it seems all anyone can do is accuse, denigrate, and tear down anyone they view as opposed to their view.

WAKE UP, PEOPLE....THE COUNTRY’S FUTURE IS AT STAKE!!!!

I don't think so. I just think the Trump supporters participate more in these FR Caucus polls.

I couldn’t find it yesterday.
