Mothers spend their lives making their children kick off dirty shoes before the entering the house.
But now one enterprising woman has gone one better and trained her dogs to stop them traipsing mud everywhere.
In the brilliant footage filmed in Thailand, the lady is seen waiting at the front door where her four golden retrievers wait patiently in an orderly queue before they are cleaned and allowed into the house.

Ohh, I thought this was going to be political. About GOP lapdogs.
Goldens are great family dogs... sweet and loving.
Golden Retrievers are very polite dogs. In-laws had one, and she was so docile that I thought there was something wrong with her.
It depends a bit on the particular dog, as with most breeds.
I had a male Golden (papers) from a shelter. He was a very loving dog, great around kids and even cats, but had a dominance problem with other dogs. And he was hyper—needed a lot of exercise. I couldn’t imagine him waiting in line like those nice doggies.
Nice. I’ll have to try to find it.
It’s Thailand. They know they better behave themselves or they might end up as dinner.
I couldn’t find the video you mentioned, but I found another Thai/Retriever story from the DM:
Doggy paddle! Thai pet lover swims with all 12 of his golden retrievers who chase after him in the water and bark in excitement
My parents have owned goldens for about 50 years. In my experience, the females are sweet and very polite. The males are sweet but extremely rambunctuous.

Now, if I could only get my wife to kick off HER shoes after taking the dogs out in the muddy yard.
Best dogs ever. I’ll be so happy to see our Molly again.

Good buddies!
Thanks. That’s the recent one in the story, though. He said a video from a couple of years ago about them lining up for dinner.
Dang! Big, good looking crew!!! Mixes and pures?
