Hillary’s Feeling the Bern—From FBI Director James Comey
edwardklein.com ^ | 2/2/2016 | Edward Klein

Hillary Clinton is Feeling the Bern--but the real heat isn't coming from Bernie Sanders, who fought her to a humiliating dead heat in the Iowa caucuses.

The Bern is coming from James Comey, the straight-arrow director of the FBI, who is leading the investigation into her email scandal.

After 6 long months of investigation--hundreds of interviews, tens of thousands of documents, and untold hours retrieving deleted emails from Hillary's homebrew server--Comey and his team of more than 100 agents are finally closing in on Hillary and her closest advisers.

Prosecutors at the Justice Department and managers in Hillary's presidential campaign tell ED KLEIN CONFIDENTIAL that the FBI has zeroed in on three people in Hillary's inner circle.

These three--Huma Abedin, Cheryl Mills and Jake Sullivan-- have been notified by the FBI that they should prepare to testify under oath about their involvement in the handling of classified national security secrets on Hillary's homebrew email system (more...)

Dream on, they will never indict her. If they were going to they would have indicted her months ago and got a replacement in there already.

The narrative is going to change to: Well we can't indict a candidate while they re running, it looks too political.

Is all this to garner the sympathy vote? Is sure appears like it to me. Poor victim and a woman at that.

This will drag on for awhile, but if she is the nominee they will say well we need to wait until after the general, don't want to disrupt that process.

If she was (GOD FORBIDP) elected president, they would say well we can't impeach her, how would that look to our constituents, not good for the country to disrupt the office.

Guess I've been around to long to see any other reason for her not being indicted NOW.

Don’t get your hopes up. Hillary and her aides know how to beat any questioning under oath.

I Remember the mantra Hillary perfected during her testimony under oath during the Whitewater scandals. Time after Time, she answered questions with “I have no specific recollection of that [issue, fact, email, document, etc]” to avoid an answer that would be responsive or subject her to perjury.

Well, gee whiz, you can’t expect a girl to give answers under oath if she can’t remember, can you?

In the intervening years, lots of Democrats have followed the example of their leader while under oath and used the same response or a variant thereof, just to keep anyone from comparing it to repeatedly taking the 5th.

You have to expect nothing at all from the Hillary aides, Mills, Abedin and Sullivan, because they will use the same non-responsive answer to avoid taking the 5th or facing perjury—or, actually giving truthful answers. It is their rightful dodge and they will use it.

The narrative is going to change to: Well we can't indict a candidate while they re running, it looks too political.

Sorry. I don't buy it.

We are being set up with James Comey EXACTLY the same way we were set up with Archibald Cox ("fiercely independent" [not really]) Patrick Fitzgerald ("most likely a Republican" [nope was not one]) the Florida Supreme Court in Bush v. Gore("this is a very conservative court." [Riiiiiiiight.])

The failure to further prosecute David Petraeus -- whom they intended to throw the book at -- is a signal that they will allow Grandma Nixon to plead down to some misdemeanors for negligence and that will be the end of it. Close aids may get felonies for which they will go on probation for ten years and pay large fines.

If Comey were really a "straight shooter" he wouldn't be the head of the FBI under pResident 0bama.

Got a kick out of Krauthammer’s comment last night, “The only primary that matters for Hillary Clinton is the Comey Primary”.

No time for an apology tour?’’ Hillary The Lied To’’. She’s waddles along because people think she’s a ‘’wronged-woman’’.

Agree. Everything I’ve heard about Comey is that he is a man of absolute integrity.

If the FBI sends the case to the US Attorney and they decline prosecution, I look for Comey to resign along with a number of other FBI officials.

The minute that the first one of these rolls {I predict it will be Jake Sullivan} the end will be neigh.

The FBI doesn't have to get too much from Jake, just enough that even pmsnbc, can't ignore the treason that she is guilty of.

hildabutchbitch should be spending her remaining days waiting for her execution. I know, it won't happen but the thought of it does give me a woody. Number 5 is alive.

There will be no plea as any plea towards misfeasance, malfeasance or nonfeasance regarding classified information would disqualify her from holding office again.

They keep reminding us that a 100+ FBI agents are on this. When the DOJ decides not to prosecute this will be used as a clear and loud signal that she has been exonerated and give her credibility as the most investigated politician in history.
