We'll surely be hearing about more murders by this sick sick kid as soon as he's released. I don't think such a sick individual should ever be released, for the safety of the public.

But he's an orphan!!

Don't you think orphans should be granted *some* leeway?

Hey, I have an idea. First off, whatever psychologist okays his release must then allow the guy to live in the good doctor’s home. When the Doctor is strangely found murder in a few weeks, the state must order the Judge’s family to take him in.

I’m reminded of 1974 when several teens beat to death several Navajo drunks at Farmington. It was a bad time with the AIM movement getting involved.
The teens were old enough to be considered adults but for some reason they were tried as teens. I still feel it was a miscarriage of justice.
I do believe the Navajos should have waited till the teens were released and then “disappeared” them somewhere way back in the desert.

Anyone who could methodically do that should never walk free again, I don’t care how old they are. If they killed their own blood, they’ll think less than nothing about killing someone else.

“As chilling as details of the crime may have been, Romero said state law called for the hearing and his findings to focus on Griego and his prospects for rehabilitation, not the offense.”

Ridiculous. The details of the crime all but prove he can never be rehabilitated!

Similar case in Abq a year or so ago. But this time the one perp who’s gone to trial (two to go) got 67 years.

Respectfully, if you were a judge and even though you could not be held personally liable for releasing this “orphan” would you sign the Release Document and turn him loose?

Charles Manson did not kill as many people as this guy did. He has a screw loose.

are these people bat-sh$t crazy ?

"He pleaded guilty in October to two counts of second-degree murder for his parents' deaths and three counts of child abuse resulting in death, which his attorney said showed he had taken responsibility for the crime."

he shot 5 people, admits to 2 of the shootings and his attorney says it shows he has taken responsibility for his crime ? Shouldn't that be "Crimes"?

.....well, lol, I just re-read your post a couple times and although I can now see what your saying in your “reply” to me your post could be interpreted either way!

I appreciate the clarification and now understand your point to which I agree.
