How Bernie Sanders, the Communist, becomes POTUS & SCOTUS goes far left!

• Trump wins Republican nomination by popular vote.
• Republican convention is brokered, the (R) elitist's pick Cruz, overriding the will of the majority.
• Cruz is sued over eligibility by Trump (among others), the 5th circuit court of appeals rules a born Canadian (even with U.S. citizenship) can not be POTUS.
• Trump goes Independent.
• SCOTUS, still a 4/4 split, doesn't hear the case (thus upholding the 5th circuit decision).
• Meanwhile, the FBI recommends indictment for Hillary (how could they not?) over email-gate.
• The Just Us department initially refuses to prosecute.
• In a Quid pro quo, they prosecute with the Senate (R)'s promise to ultimately give Barry his SCOTUS nomination an affirmative vote.
• With Hillary out of the way, and an Independent Trump coming in a close 2nd...the Communist Sanders is ushered into the Presidency.

Ok, so this is most likely a very bad dream.

However, just 10-15 years ago, who would have thought a usurper would have been allowed to destroy our country simply because of his ethnicity?

So stranger things have happened.

Heaven help us should it come true!

I wonder if Canada will still be inviting Americans to move there if Sandrrs wins? Not that my family would go, but since they are inviting Americans now who fear Trump winning, it makes one wonder. I hate to inject realism into your fantasy, but Trump is neither going to sue Cruz nor run third party.

He is very good at getting his name on the frontpages when he wants to bump off other stories, though. The media is nothing if not predictable. :D

If Trump is brokered out during the convention (after wining the popular vote), you believe he will let that go as is? I believe he would say that was a breach of their agreement, and go 3rd party.

I think Trump going third party if he doesn’t get the nomination is a much more likely, and equally devastating, scenario.

I don’t put it past him if he feels that Cruz has ‘Stolen’ the nomination.

Good points! Was thinking perhaps instead of Rubio, they choose Cruz based on his much higher numbers (at that time) and better chance in their minds of beating the (D)'s.

I think Jeb won't last till the convention, even with his piles of cash.

As much as Obama has actually transformed the country, it does not require tin foil to envision Sanders in the White House. We loathe what the Kenyan has done, but he has delivered on most of his campaign promises, setting America on a continuing leftist path.

The “elites pick Cruz”? That’s how you tell that your “very bad dream” was just that since Cruz would be the last person they would pick. But I can see Trump getting the nomination and coming in second behind Sanders. Now THAT would be a nightmare.
