photo BlackJackPershing.jpg I've wondered about the veracity of this General Pershing jpeg/meme that seemed to be going around about a decade ago ...

Apparently ... even over a century ago the New York Times was insinuating that US Armed Forces were “baby killers”:

Arthur MacArthur Gov. Gen. in the Philippines

Philippine–American War[edit] Wikipedia
He led the 2nd Division of Eighth Corps during the Philippine–American War at the Battle of Manila (1899), the Malolos campaign and the Northern Offensive. When the American occupation of the Philippines turned from conventional battles to guerrilla warfare, MacArthur commanded the Department of Northern Luzon. In January 1900, he was appointed Brigadier General in the Regular Army and was appointed military governor of the Philippines with command of Eighth Corps, replacing General Elwell S. Otis.
He authorized the expedition, under General Frederick Funston, that resulted in the capture of Emilio Aguinaldo. MacArthur persuaded the captured Aguinaldo to cease fighting and to swear allegiance to the United States. He was promoted to major general in the Regular Army on February 5, 1901.
After the war, President William McKinley named him Military Governor of the Philippines, but the following year, William Howard Taft was appointed as Civilian Governor. Taft and MacArthur clashed frequently. So severe were his difficulties with Taft over U.S. military actions in the war that MacArthur was eventually relieved and transferred to command the Department of the Pacific, where he was promoted to lieutenant general.

Turkish Muslims slaughtered several millions of their own Amerian citizens, expelled millions of Greeks and killed several hundred thousands in the early 20th century.

Nobody cares today, because Muslims can do no wrong in Obola’s eyes.

Do the 'Pershing Treatment' repeatedly with ISIS and see how they respond, 49 and let 1 go. 'Rinse and repeat' over and over.

The USA used to fight enemies until they were all dead or absolutely crushed, and we occupied countries - for decades at a time if necessary. We felt our culture was superior, and weren’t afraid to promote our values.

None of those are true or possible now - its why the USA should not invade places like Iraq, and why we can’t win there.

My maternal grandfather was in the P.I. for the Insurrection. Named a son after General Lawton.

And the Turks, despite to this day trying to deny they did— slaughtered almost a million Armenians, Christians and Jews, and took their property. Sometime, talk to the Armenian community here in America and learn from their family history who survived and how.

The islamofascists have been carrying on this murderous jihad ever since mo ham- head gave them the OK and provided fake scripture to support whatever he wanted to do. These are not “high civilization” they are medieval, feudal barbarians. And they don’t care what you believe or don’t believe. All are infidels to be slaughtered.

49 and let 1 go. 'Rinse and repeat' over and over.

Something tells me, they wouldn't have to rinse and repeat too many times, before the word got out.

The soaking in pigs’ blood method is no longer a deterrent. The jihadist leaders tell their followers that as long as they don’t desire anything related to pork themselves, they won’t be committing a sin.

Oh yes, it wouldn't take long to get the word out but the repetition would strike fear in their hearts globally. . . and stop them in their tracks. Would take a real leader to institute. . and follow through when the libs go nuts.

I just wonder where all these bad guys can hide on Jolo Island? The whole island is only 335 square miles. Davao City, is nearly three times bigger than Jolo Island.

That’s absolutely true. Noticed yesterday that Obama supported Turkey’s “right” to slaughter Kurds framing it as self-defense. Of course the invasion, occupation and expulsion of 200,000 from Cyprus is never an issue either. From time to time, I encountered Turks on Twitter denouncing Israel but were dumbfounded when I turned it around to Turkey’s holocaust that inspired Hitler, their occupation of Cyprus, of Armenian land, of Constantinople, etc.
