I guess if you are Rubio, this really does constitute good news. In all seriousness, though, how did Rubio think he had a hope in h*ll of being a competitive candidate or winning the nomination? Who lied to him and filled his head with nonsense?
I think He has done just that.
He has said he is staying in for Utah now. Very good for Trump
All due respect, I doubt much of anything will happen. Americans don’t have the fighting spirit of the greatest generation. You’d have pockets of angry conservatives, but the country would continue its descent.
Rubio told WTVT in Tampa he is never getting out.
The Rube keeps saying he can win from early voters enchanted with him.

I’ll never forget. Some liberal I was working with in CA busted into my office to gleefully inform me that Gore had won Florida, and I told her I didn’t believe it.
Nonsense.
Trump wins a three way (or, more probably, four-way) election easily.
It has not kept them from calling races for Dems before. I can remember how angry I was in 2000 when they called it for Gore just after 6:00PM.

I noticed the same thing. He currently has the weight of being the GOPe’s golden boy on his shoulders. If he squeaks out a victory in his home state and stays in and Rubio stays in; we will have the joy of a couple more months of this Trump vs. the three dwarves crap. He would probably crack under the pressure.
It is possible that this might keep Trump from getting to 1237 delegates, but I think that the real consequence is that whatever small chance Cruz has of getting to 1237 delegates in the coming contests will be dashed. Trump already has a broad and committed base, the voters he doesn't have is currently getting split up three ways. The real goal of Kasich and Rubio staying in is not to hurt Trump... it is to hurt Cruz.
And I am a strong Trump supporter.
Without that upcoming debate, he'd he out tomorrow.

The Rube hasn’t won anything yet and has been the cats meow with the establishment scum the last month, FNC has been unbearable to watch. How could him losing his home state be any different? If Kasich loses Ohio the Rube will still be the golden little Marco to the establishment trash and as always Fart Head Karl Rove, Brit I’ll Cry if Trump wins, and Bill the Sellout Kristol will proclaim: if the Rube wins this state on a Friday on the 10th day of the month and the sun comes up in the west and rain falls from a cloudless sky and Lindsey Lohan stays sober 12 hrs. it could all fall into place for the Rube to be the GOPE nominee...
One memory hard to forget. Remembered this as being one of the turning points in Our America. Gore was never quite right in the head after that.

They really are screwing Cruz. Cruz will be screaming for both to get out. The debate on the 21st may actually be good for trump as Cruz will be all over Kasick and Rubio.
