How can this author think that there are absolutely NO conservative ideological issues possessed by Trump. Moreover, how well has our leadership (including the pundits) served the Conservative movement over the last, say, 15 years?
I think it is a crack-up after a hard crash with reality. Some survived. Some didn't
Ace of Spades
NRO
American Spectator
The Blaze
Moonbattery
Smoking Gun
All of whom have gone Full Megyn Beck.
They barely laid a hand on that woman journo the other day.
I had felt sure she really had been taken to the ground as she’d admonished, but it turned out to be HOGWASH:
She got her arm pinched a bit, and for less than ONE SECOND.
The claim was RIDICULOUS.
What? Start naming. I don't know of one, much less many. I have heard Michael Savage but don't get him on radio where I live. Beyond that...I can name dozens that unabashedly hate Trump with vitriol reserved only for Satan himself.
Conservative Media?
They say that like it was an actual thing.
AM radio, dusty magazines, a couple of low-rate cable networks, and some really poorly-designed websites is not a “media”.
The most disappointing ones are Weakly Standard and NRO.
Verrrrrry Country Club, and that is coming from a pretty regular Country Club person (but without any of the attitude).
I won’t be reading those publications ever again.
Sorry, I’m on the barricades with the dirty rebels.
If we don’t conserve the country, what else is there?
The existential threat to the nation is the millions of foreigners pouring over our borders unchecked.
The “conservatives” who advocate abandoning of the rule of law and amnesty for the interlopers are not conserving the country, they are surrendering it.
There is no doubt in my mind that Trump is conservative. He's just not as conservative as the RINO-Right wants him to be. Cruz isn't even as conservative as the RINO-Right wants as they'll find out if he's ever elected President.
Trump by far has the upper hand over the GOP. Like every move Trump does it both attacks and defends. The GOP has to either accept him or accept Hillary.
Looking at it from a gambler's perspective:
Trump either becomes President and steers the party, or he destroys the the inept and compromised GOPe.
The GOPe either loses, or loses more.
That's perfect strategy. it's win big/lose vs win / lose big. You have to respect that. Go with the Winner.
Vote Trump, the new Teflon Don.
Mark Levin put it best when he divided the Republican Party between progressives (aka the establishment) populist progressives (Buchanan, Perot and Trump) and constitutional conservatives (Cruz).
Of course the last two are better than the first and all three are better than the Left.
You know, choosing between Trump and Cruz is not unlike the way these two gentlemen choose their wives.
A slightly less than glamorous but smart and capable woman like Heidi or bing bada boom bada bing like Trump’s tootsie troika.
All four much better than butt ugly dummies like RINOs or Leftists.
Just a matter of taste.
The reason is because we are losing under their leadership.
Yes, what a shame about Megyn Kelly and Fox News. Just tragic.
” I’m a unifier.” —Donald Trump (yeah, right)!
It is a pure strawman position. It was never true.
There was always disagreement in the “conservative media”. The big difference this year is that we have two exceptionally good outsider candidates, and both have very good chances of winning the presidency if they get the nomination.
Just an old fashioned political fight.
The writer sounds as if he is p*ssed that everyone does not automatically agree with him.
I have an answer for you McCann:
Unless the influx of illegal invaders is stopped and even reversed, this country is lost.
The Constitution, what’s left of it, will be rendered meaningless. All the other legitimate problems we have are moot if we’re overrun by those who are incompatible with the American culture and American values. These are not the Ellis Island immigrants of yesteryear.
Only Donald Trump understands this and is serious about doing something meaningful about it. Everyone else unwilling to do what it takes.
By the way, what about all those who did it legally - jumped through hoops, took the time, spent the money, studies American history? Why does nobody address that injustice?
If Mr. McCann cares to look into it further, read Ann Coulter’s book ‘Aidos America’.
Understand this America, if it hadn’t been for talk radio you would be living in Zimbabwe 2.0 right now.
Savage is a Trump supporter.
Kaslin will help us find out who's naughty and nice...
Thanks, Kaslin! :)
