Has anyone picked up Manziel yet?
I feel for RG III,although he’s a millionaire and I’m not.
Well, good luck to RG3.. Who knows?
After manziel, anything is possible.
Wow.
Maybe they can re-hire Johnny Football as a QB coach, too.
Don’t they have a high draft pick to try rebuilding with?
I hope the Cowboys sign him as a backup for ROmo.
And keep Hardy.
Info about Manziel and Jerry Jones:
What is it with Cleveland constantly signing over priced under performing QBs? Bengals and Steelers fans have to love it though.
While I believe Griffin is a stand up guy, and I’d like to see him succeed, his career has been profoundly predictable:
Early success, followed by a string if injuries contributed to by his excessive reliance on running. You simply can’t do that in the NFL unless you’re a freak of nature. Griffin is a superb athlete, but he’s not at the level where he can escape hits 98% of the time.
Being on the Browns pretty much seals his fate.
Will you all quit the Browns bashing? Hue Jackson is a no nonsense coach who will rebuild the Browns from the ground up. RGIII is a fantastic pickup that will outclass the past 5 quarterbacks put together. Go Browns! Go Dof Pound!
I question how “stand up” Griffin is. Few of his teammates were clamoring for his return. He also got caught sexting a Hooters waitress in Richmond VA the night before his wedding. The media quickly buried that story.
I’ve lived near Cleveland for just over ten years. All I can say is GO PATS!!
Tim Couch 22
Doug Pederson 32
Kelly Holcomb 30
Jeff Garcia 34
Trent Dilfer 33
Charlie Frye 25
Derek Andersen 24
Brady Quinn 25
Colt McCoy 24
Brandon Weeden 29
Jason Campbell 32
Brian Hoyer 29
Josh McCown 36
The Brown suck without RGIII. They will suck even more with him.
I think you are ignoring the impact of poor coaching and poor teams.
And while not the best quarterback, Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl.
Just when you think the Browns can’t get any worse. . . .
