President Barack Obama is opposing suggestions the government privatize the Department of Veterans Affairs to improve health care veterans receive.
In an interview with the Colorado Springs Gazette, the president said his administration has made progress modernizing the VA and providing veterans with more timely health care following criticism over wait times. Privatizing the agency would delay that progress, he said.
The administration came under fire when it was disclosed that secret wait lists were uncovered at a VA health care system in Arizona amid reports that several veterans had died waiting for health care. Government investigations found significant system failures. …

VA is a good example of how single payer health care “works”.
The corporatists must insist that the system is just a few minor reforms away from being the model for the entire US health care system.
Then I think the 0bama family and all government employees should be under the VA system too.

The government union workers gotta go, or at the very least, the union has got to go.
I have VA health care. I have been instructed that for any emergency I may go to any emergency room for immediate care. Also most every VA hospital has an emergency care facility that runs 24/7.
Whatever boo go opposes (which is anything American) is not the end all, be all, of the situation.
He loves dependant second rate care for Vets. Rot in hell Odunga.
Vets don’t vote rat, so screw ‘em. It’s that simple.
He wants to make sure they get to provide sexual mutilation to the mentally ill - send them to the head of the line over actual sick/maimed vets.
The important thing to remember is that in a little while Obamas wishes and wants will be IRRELEVANT.!!
