If Trump wins, Hillary will be pardoned before Obama leaves office.

The endorsement was unenthusiastic and weirdly over the top.

I was open about my post and my thoughts (and feelings if you are so inclined).

It was to ALL who posted on the thread, read it (and can post in reply should they choose to/log in)

As to posting to “the Boss”... it was also to those who have spent time in the last two months on the ‘thon’.

(and how many ‘thons in the past?)

I Could have been more delicate (via PM). I doubt that you would have received such any better.

Again, it wasn’t about “you”, but the continuing negativity of posts re: Hillary won’t be...

She WILL if there is evidence and we support it.

Sir or Madam, by being on this site, I presume that we have at minimum, a base responsibility of not denigrating our party’s candidate without due cause.

Every post on this site is logged and posted on Google within seconds.

I believe that we have a choice to make... (just as we have done with Mr Trump).

Hillary Clinton has broken laws and WILL be held accountable. (hopefully in a jail)

...or we can cower and continue to go further into the depths of lawlessness by saying that she won’t be held accountable.

Please consider and think of your response as we have just passed the commemoration of many who gave their lives to defeat what we are not now faced with in a voting booth.

Well, that's what I was wondering. If she wrote emails on her own server, were those emails ever in the proper place of custody? And, if they were never in the proper place of custody, it might be difficult to show that she removed them from the proper place.

At least now I know what they are trying to show. Thanks again. ;)

1. Party unity to get Bernie out of the picture.
2. She gets the nomination.
3. After the convention is forced to step down due to indictment or leaks from the FBI.
4. It is now post convention and the party leaders get to decide without a convention fight with Bernie.
5. Hello Joe Biden.

In reality there would be less turmoil in the demonic-rat party than if it happened before the convention. July will be an interesting month. It will be an indictment or the FBI will start leaking leaking leaking leaking.

I appreciate your reasoned reply there. And I do understand the concern expressed in your original post to me. We are all on edge after being subject to 7 1/2 years of garbage coming out of DC.

But please note that I ended my original post with the sentence "So I must conclude that the fix is in." I wanted to make it clear that not indicting Hillary would be improper.

As for my original post being negative overall, yes I suppose it was. But even negative posts can lead to a good exchange of ideas. And sometimes people learn things, and gain new perspectives. I know that's happened to me.

That’s the best you can come up with?

Lighten Up Francis?

My nic is This_far.

Can’t you do something with that or has most everyone on this site gone semi catatonic?

No one can recommend an indictment.
++++
I think you are right. Poor choice of words on my part.

What is the actual mechanism for moving from an FBI investigation to Lynch to a Grand Jury and an indictment.

What does the FBI hand over to Lynch?

I thank YOU for YOUR reasoned response, it’s what I remember from the early days of FR, which allowed FR and readers to grow and learn. (including members of the media, not so much now).

I think Obama has a different view. If Hillary has a vp nominee such as Julian Castro or Liz warren then I guarantee an indictment is just around the corner. On the other hand if she has a weak nominee they have to leave her alone

I believe it is a statement of charges or something similar. That is what I hope Comey will go public with if Lynch declines (on Husseins orders) to convene the grand jury. And while we’re on that subject, it’s even legal to decline?

The very essence of her crime was preemptively removing all communications from their [legal] place of custody. Her crime meets the definition. She preemptively removed all communications that had her or her aides as interlocutors. It does not take a stretch to see that she is guilty of this crime and guilty on a global basis. Her crimes are all inclusive, terrible violations of that law.

Maybe Huma was making all the decisions that Hillary was assumed by the American public to be doing. How the State Department acted is consistent with this hypothesis.

I've been saying this ever since we first heard of this investigation.

If Obama managed to compromise Comey, then the investigation will take many decades to complete (making it meaningless). If Obama hasn't managed to compromise Comey, then Comey will eventually send it to DOJ. Lynch doesn't need to be compromised, she's already Obama's loyal servant... she'll never indict Hillary. She'll either stall forever, or simply come out with a statement saying "we reviewed the FBI's case and found no wrongdoing. case closed.".

A Hillary indictment would be a direct threat to the remainder of Obama's presidency... and perhaps even his freedom. She could sing like a bird... and he would be toast.

If he allows her to be indicted then his own chickens will be forcefully roosted in his own home. The Clintons are not known for going quietly into the dustbin.

Well, Obama’s endorsement of Hillary might have been some sort of signal to the DOJ re indicting Hillary, but the FBI can still make the charge. And .. if Comey does, and then the DOJ refuses to do anything about it .. I’ve heard so many well-known lawyers say the FBI is going to leak all the information.

Some of the charges could be TREASON; COLLABORATING WITH THE ENEMY; GIVING SECRET AND CLASSIFIED DATA TO AN UNSECURED SERVER .. ALLOWING IT TO BE SEEN MY OUR ENEMIES .. just to name a few.

If Obama thinks this will clear him of any involvement, he’s in for a bumpy ride .. and I hope it embarrasses him to the hilt.
