This is a pic of the lagoon, the sand beach in the center is where he was attacked.

A 2 year old from Nebraska knows there are gators there, really?

When you invite strangers onto your property, you incur liability should something happen to them, and why you buy insurance. It goes double when you are running a commercial operation.

Alligators are not endangered. They should have been hunting them 24/7 and killing them when they found them. Disney is going to be sorry they didn’t and yes you know they have insurance for anything that might happen to a guest.

His parents should have known. This is Florida. It is very different from where they are from. Sometimes tourists leave their brains at home when they come to the state. There are a multitude of naturally occurring situations that can take lives. Alligators and hurricanes are just two of them.

There are severe lightning storms in Florida too. I’ve seen tourists, in the pool when a storm comes up, refuse to get out when told lightening is dangerous and they need to exit the pool. People on golf courses get struck all the time. Gators are a dangerous aspect of living in Florida.

Since Florida is most famous for its gators, people visiting the state need to remember that fact and take precautions. It’s not a joke. They go after people and animals. They don’t care at all what the venue looks like. They can show up any time in places they have never been seen before.

Especially if you build and maintain a beach on that lagoon.

Were they given a warning at the check-in counter to the resort?

Disney will pay big bucks when this is said and done.
