WH defends Lynch from Clinton meeting fallout

The White House on Thursday defended Attorney General Loretta Lynch from criticism over her private meeting with former President Clinton.

The meeting took place in the midst of a federal investigation into his wife, Hillary Clinton, and her private email server during her tenure as secretary of State, but White House press secretary Josh Earnest said both Lynch and President Obama are committed to conducting a fair investigation.

ADVERTISEMENT “I think the bottom line is simply that both the president and the attorney general understand how important it is for the Department of Justice to conduct investigations that are free of political interference,” he told reporters.

Earnest declined to say whether it was appropriate for Lynch to take the meeting, and acknowledged that questions about it “are entirely legitimate.”

But he refused to second-guess her decision to speak privately with Bill Clinton, saying he took Lynch at her word that the two did not discuss the investigation.

Lynch needs to resign. The Republican congress should demand it.

so if these people supposedly understand how important it is to conduct investigations and all that, do they also understand that they should avoid even the appearance of impropriety???? Or are they too dense to grasp that concept????

Is it possible that Lynch is doing a little free lancing and that the White House was not aware of the meeting?

Did he say this with a straight face? Of course she doesn't understand, or probably doesn't care about how this looks. These people think they can do whatever they want - they behave just like organized crime orgs. Brazen, and with a smirk on their faces

Subsequently the Just-Us Dept is seeking to withhold Clinton e-mails until 2018. But hows the grand-babies and golf?

This is the original F*ck You administration.

They don’t even hide their corruption any more.

Why did they need to meet on a plane? Clinton and Lynch could have televised the entire meeting, replete with every bit of federal collusion and felony completely open, and nothing will be done about it.

If a conservative attends a church that believes biblical passages about homosexuality, however, THAT person will be CRUCIFIED.

Lynch is weakened in stature from this day forward, and even the Dims know it. She has been a most useful tool, that will be quietly discarded into the oblivion if the election goes their way. Has anybody seen dear Kathleen Sebelius lately?
You know, the one who sacrified her own credibility and trustworthiness in order to push ObamaCare?
Neither hide or hair to be seen since.

On Drudge

“Lynch Shields Clinton Foundation”

Perhaps a hint of what was discussed by Clinton and Lynch on the plane?

Thing is: why hasn’t someone gotten the “N” number of the bizjet they met in? You run that number through http://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquiry/NNum_Inquiry.aspx and you’ll find out who or what corporation owns it.

If the GOP does vote to impeach her, and that’s an awfully big ‘IF”, I don’t want Trey Gowdy or Daryl Issa anywhere near the action committee.
