Tom Brady will sit out the first four games of the upcoming NFL season, but Deflategate hasnt officially been put to rest quite yet.
The New England Patriots quarterback has granted the NFL Players Association permission to continue fighting his four-game suspension, a source told ProFootballTalks Mike Florio, even after announcing he is done doing so himself.

This is not a case about justice. It is about the collective bargaining agreement between the NFL and the players union.
No way they give Goodall that much power in the next CBA, unless he bribes them. He will successfully bribe them.
He only has one appeal left, SCOTUS, and the chances of their taking the case are pretty close to nil.

I agree. That is why Brady decided not to pursue it.
I was surprised the NFL players are pursuing the case.
I’m surprised too, but I bet their lawyers are real happy.
