Morning! It’s kind of you to help the dog. I’d put her in the yard until daylight.

Similar thing happened to me the other night except someone pounded on the door and disappeared. I called: THE COPS.

The cops were very nice to me, but found nothing.

I'd call them. They might be looking for her now.

Is there a phone number on the tag?

A long time ago I was at a camp in NW PA by myself. I knew one of the camp owners owned a bl. Lab because he used to put an orange vest on it during bear season. One night I heard noise coming from the back porch/laundry room. I picked up a Wiffle Ball bat looked on the dark back porch and found the Lab sans his flourescent vest. I opened the yelled and hit him with the bat. It was a real bear. I lost a few trips to the outhouse in my unnies.

Just a quick note: you should not feed chicken bones to an animal. They can be fatal, since they splinter easily and can pierce the digestive system.

I’ve heard it’s not good to give dogs chicken bones because (due to the small size) they can easily be broken/chewed into sharp edges that could injure the critter’s throat.

I dunno, tho, I’m a cat feller.

You gave her chicken bones? She might return after her visit to the vet.

No BONES of any kind.
We had to take one of our dogs to the vet hospital to have a knot from a rawhide bone removed from his esophagus.

Our family dog, that I grew up with, died from a bone getting caught in his intestine and we never gave him chicken bones.

No rawhides, no bones, just love (and plenty of dog cookies)

Vets tell us NOT to feed CHICKEN BONES to dogs. Then can
splinter in the gut and tear it. (Vets see firsthand the
results that can occur from chicken bones.) We used to feed
them to our dogs; but won’t risk it now.

You were kind to care for the dog. But please avoid giving chicken bones to a dog in the future, since they are too soft, splinter easily and can make the dog die a miserable death from internal splinter punctures.

Cooked chicken bones can kill your dog!

You sure it was a real dog?
It could have been an alien like that dog in “The Thing”.........
How do we know you have not been infected and are now a alien?
