On the day Apple confirms plans to release 14 special edition Olympic Games Apple Watch straps, the latest Wristly survey confirms an astonishing 94 percent of existing Apple Watch customers are still satisfied with their devices.

New software promise

That’s a big deal, even though Apple Watch sales have reportedly slowed pending the fall software update. Apple isn’t the only watchmaker feeling the flatness, Swiss watch industry exports fell faster than ever before in 1H 2016, and all eyes now are on Apple this fall when new software and potentially new watch designs may be in the frame.

“With the pace at which processors and core hardware system components are improving these days we can reasonably expect 25% to 30% higher performance and battery life for the next Apple Watch,” Wristly’s Bernard Desarnauts’ writes.

I have plenty of Apple products among my 6 member family, but I will not getting any watches for any of us......the one thing is 5 out of 6 have cell phones which is a pretty darn expensive watch right there...it gives time. Plus I don’t like the fact that the watches have to be used with the cell phone. Too much work.

Hmmmmm. A little editing in your quotation there, Arl295. The article said "special edition Olympic Games Apple Watch straps", not what you are representing to push your false narrative.

I might get one of those Dick Tracy watches. Are they real easy to use?

They are. You will probably want to turn off some of the notifications you don't want, but that is easy from your iPhone. Check pricing at Best Buy. They often have specials going on.

Thanks, I hate best buy though. Had areal bad warranty experience with them. Never again. Maybe Costco carries them.

No Apple watches at Costco that I saw in a Dallas area store.

Lots of Fitbit, though. Big box stores may explain the Fitbit sales increase.

I’m not trying to talk you into shopping at Best Buy, but Apple repairs its products and honors its warranty at the Apple Store no matter where you bought it originally.

I am quite happy with my sport watch and the battery does last all day.

I will sell it and upgrade of course.
