[VANITY ] Maslow And The Inner City Democrat Voter

One of the tools used to examine human behavior is Maslow's Hierarchy Of Needs.

I think this tool is useful in examining the voting behavior of inner city Democrat voters. Let's give it the old college try.

Maslow wrote that there are five levels of needs. These needs are:

Physiological Safety Love/Belonging Safety Physiological

He argues that there is a ranking of these needs.

The first need is Physiological. The second need is Safety. The third need is Love/Belonging. The fourth need is Esteem. The fifth need is Self Actualization.

The famed Maslow Pyramid looks like this:

Self Actualization Esteem Love/Belonging Safety Physiological

Maslow emphasized that a lower level need must be satisfied before a person could advance to a higher level need.

For example, Physiological needs must be satisfied before the person will worry about Safety needs. Safety needs must be satisfied before the person will worry about Love/Belonging needs.

Since we read from top to bottom, when we look at Maslow's Pyramid, the first thing we see is Self Actualization. This causes confusion. The actual first need to be satisfied is Physiological.

Physiological needs are such things as air, food, water, shelter.

Maslow states that the Physiological needs must be met before the person will advance to try and satisfy the Safety needs.

The problem with Maslow's Theory is that he is assuming that every person WANTS to advance. All people do not have the same sense of motivation.

Maslow is also assuming that every person will be able to recognize when a lower level need has been satisfied. All people do not have the same cognitive ability.

The Democrats have recognized these two faults with Maslow's Theory and they take advantage of them to manipulate voters.

The Democrat Party has convinced the inner city voters that they can satisfy their needs and the Republicans can't.

In fact, the Democrat Party has convinced the inner city voters that the Republicans will take away the satisfaction of their needs and leave them struggling to satisfy their Physiological, Safety, Love/Belonging and Esteem needs. Look at the riots this summer. The inner city voters have been convinced that the police are a threat to their safety.

Maslow never heard the modern saying that, "Perception is reality." But, if a person perceives that their lower level needs are threatened, then that is their reality.

This is perhaps the greatest difference between Democrats and Republicans. Republicans want all people to climb the pyramid and achieve Self Actualization. The Democrats want a few people to achieve Self Actualization, but they want most people to live in fear that their lower level needs might not be met tomorrow. They are easier to manipulate.

This distinction is why the Democrats work so hard to control the media. If inner city voters realized that the Republicans want them to advance while the Democrats want them to remain stagnant and fearful, they would hunt down the Democrat Party leaders and hang them.

The Dems have set up to be providers and nurturers in the stead of the good Lord.

It seems that belonging is provided by the racism that they share and the Self-esteem comes from the community organizing and protesting.

Perception is not and never will be reality.

So, perhaps not all men are equally developed, mentally speaking, to seek the higher levels?

Of course, all men are equally created but development over thousands of years seems to center on environment. Minorities in the inner cities appear to be stuck.

Yesterday, Catholic World Report, A Christian Future or a Pagan One? July 30, 2016

The Maslowian values hierarchy is heavy on criticism of the lower classes, especially the hand-to-mouth people. But it has something to say about the upper-middle and educated. These are the people who are controlling the disinformational narrative.

"No social crisis of our time is more profound than this disregard—to the point of disdain—for the moral needs of the vulnerable. Official ideologies of 'diversity,' 'inclusion,' and 'nonjudgmentalism' are not oriented toward the 'marginal.' They serve high achievers, the meritocrats, the comfortable people who have the social and financial capital to navigate this moral deregulation and protect themselves from its dangerous consequences. The progressive cultural politics on the march today is at odds with the Bible's fundamental social principle: 'Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked' (Psalm 82:4)."

The Democrat Party has convinced the inner city voters that they can satisfy their needs and the Republicans can't.

how to create millions of new libtards in 3 easy steps:

- pass a new minimum wage law
- when the mass unemployment occurs, crank up the printing presses and create tons of new money out of thin air
- the government borrows the money and churns out millions of brand new crisp welfare checks to support the basic lower needs of the unemployed

Meanwhile you have got millions of new grateful parasites who are brand new libtards and are happy in that position because they no longer have any desire to meet higher needs. Also, the national debt has increased, and the minimum wage earners who are still employed at the new higher wages are also new libtards. If it weren't so destructive, it would be the perfect scam.

I first encountered the Maslow Hierarchy when I was in college. It sounded reasonable, and I accepted it. Later, however, I found myself in situations in which my life was less important than carrying out the mission. That has caused me to dispute the very existence of this so-called hierarchy. Many people have different hierarchies.

I know how you feel, but perception can indeed be reality...not to rational people like you and me, but people react to what they believe is real.

To someone who has been drugged, those spiders they perceive on the wall are real. If not, then why are they afraid of them?

To someone who has been brainwashed or kept ignorant, “free stuff” is really free - no one has to pay for it, and the only reason I can’t get it is because YOU have MY share, and you’re not giving it to me.

In that sense, yes, whatever I can get you to believe (perception) is reality.

I've always been puzzled by this quote.

While I understand the quote I wonder why nature (which was created by God) does they opposite.

The stronger more adaptable plants and creatures survive to pass on their genes to the next generation while the weaker less adaptable perish.

Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs was so biased and misinformed.

Just like Kolhberg, also biased and limited in his perception of development.
