Donald Trump: "We're Having a Problem"
Yahoo Politics ^ | 8/16 | Josh Lederman

Posted on 08/16/2016 5:34:51 AM PDT by TangledUpInBlue

In a rare show of humility by the boastful billionaire, Donald Trump is acknowledging his presidential campaign faces challenges and could ultimately fall short.

The Republican presidential nominee is straying from his signature bravado as he campaigns in the battleground state of Florida, even telling a gathering of evangelical ministers Thursday he's "having a tremendous problem in Utah." The same day, the reality show star acknowledged his lack of political correctness could cost him the election if Americans reject his blunt approach.

"We're having a problem," Trump told the ministers, adding the next president could get to nominate up to five high-court justices. "It could cost us the Supreme Court."

I know, but with what I do, it’s hard to avoid. And people know I’m a Trump fan, so they’re quick to point things out....

I tend to agree. But why? Why are they keeping quiet? It can’t be because they’re trying to surprise anyone with results. It has to be because they’re embarrassed to admit they’re supporting him, no? And that’s sort of the problem.

And the churches are dying
Also the schools and universities
The concept of families
Morality - dying
Respect for US military - dying and I say that as a retiree

Yup. If Republicans lose Georgia, then they were never really in the race to begin with.

Just misdirection.

I am a little worried, however, about the amount of time Trump is spending in NC. The race here might be closer than I'd like.

It would be nice if I could come to FR and not have to this crap like I do everywhere else I go.

I agree, why do we post this self flagellating drivel again? Polling threads maybe I understand. But posting negative info, with no really pertinent new info in it, serves no purpose. I suspect like 2012, we have DU trolls here. I should know, I'm a concern troll on DU, I do a good job of faking a liberal. JimRob needs to not ban those posters, but slap their hand..contribute to the dialog, but the crepe hanging has got to stop.

“It would be nice not having to get up in the AM, and look at the news to see “what did Trump say now”.”

I love waking up to read the MSM/UniParty is crying “Trump said X...” It means he continues to dominate the 24/7 news cycle AND he’s speaking truth to power. I absolutely love it! Maybe you shouldn’t read the news???

Vote Trump 2016

"I just do not think insults and bullying is how we are to get things done," Clinton said

That is the Clinton manifesto.

The writer refers to Trump as a reality show star. That is not what he became well-known for. I don’t blame Trump for hating the media.

The point being, I’m not the one the MSM is convincing but it will likely convince many people. I had someone say to me the other day, someone who hates Hillary...

“There is just no scenario at all where the US and the world is better off with Donald Trump than Hillary Clinton”

We’d better get out the vote. We’re going to need it.

It’s Yahoo....don’t read this crap.

I agree. They take any combination of words they can to concoct a negative slant on Trump. I don't understand why people keeping posting this stuff as if it were really news.

I’m convinced there is a monster vote out there that is not being polled.

I agree. NINETY MILLION eligible voters do NOT participate in presidential elections for whatever reason...if Trump gets a mere 10% of that total to come out and vote for him; it's over.

My conservative friends in the Mormon Church are being ordered to support Hillary. They are following orders. I was shocked.

It has absolutely nothing to do with Ted Cruz.

Being a Mormon myself, could you elaborate on exactly who's orders you say I'm following?

Perhaps you could tell me what the order said too...
