There a desktop application that I used when the boys were in their teens, quite a bit ago (wow, time flies), anyway, I see the application is still out there but haven’t investigated the technical changes since I’ve used it. It was called Net Nanny, there was another one I think Parent Patrol which didn’t work quite as well. And for the record, I told the boys that I was using them, didn’t keep it a secret at all, but I was the only one who had the controls, teeheehee. If they absolutely needed to see something that was blocked then they’d ask me to unblock it. If it was something harmless then I did. It wasn’t to keep them away from things as much as to keep them and my computer safe.
