I’ve been telling my wife and friends this for years. We CAN win if our populace will support the necessary ROE and level of violence required. Of course, many civilians would also die. This is the inevitable outcome of wars and the way they are fought.

On Sept 12, 2001, the border with Mexico should have been sealed with troops from Fort Hood.
On Sept 13, 2001, we should have commenced continuous B-52 raids with dumb bombs over Afghanistan until nothing was moving.
On Sept 14, 2001, Mecca and Medina are vaporized.
On Sept. 15, 2001 all muslims are invited to drop the practice or invite death.
Open season after that.
