When former Bush chief speechwriter Michael Gerson wrote a column for The Washington Post headlined Cancel this reality show, it sounded like just another anti-Trump column. Or is Gerson calling for a shutdown of conservative talk radio?
It's understandable that establishment Republicans would despise the dynamic of conservative radio talkers trying to yank party leaders to the right. But shutting them down? Does that sound like reasonable moderation?

Trumps angry nativism newly restated in Arizona with a few twists is a talk-radio shtick, correctly viewed by most of the electorate as impractical and cruel. It is less a proposal than an offensive, unhealthy form of ideological entertainment. And this show needs to close (Conservative Talk Radio).
I believe your comment is “impractical and cruel”.
I bet that among the contents in Michael Person’s wallet is his Democrat Party registration card. The GOP has been infiltrated for decades by the Democrats.
Agh the joys of being delusional
Gerson. Yikes I have spell check on my phone that I forget to turn off. LOL
Exactly True !!
You are a Putz
Apparently you do not hear us yet
Trump may be a nativist but he is not angry. He is disgusted
Still trying to convince a majority of the people that their views are “extreme”.
I think that level of propaganda is fading away, thank God.
It is akin to “Who you going to believe; me or your lying eyes?”
It’s amazing we still have anti-Trump people here.
Oh, and your restaurants stink, lol!
The Ministry Of Propaganda has failed to convince us to give up our country without a fight.
They are really under the gun from the Cheap Labor Express to make sure Trump does not win.
There is 30 years of bipartisan policy of non-enforcement of immigration laws at risk of being overturned.
Our betters simply cannot allow the citizens to reverse that.
It’s been months. The butt hurt should be gone by now.
Why shut ‘em down when you can co-opt them?

It’s not even 9am and you’re hitting the crack pipe already??
What their base, incited by conservative media, is demanding, the country is rejecting.
Try counting the amount of People(the Base)that are Showing up at a Trump Rally BEFORE you start hitting the pipe.
Can't you see that a man like this has to be totally connected to voters that don't live in the coastal states ?
The base is incited because their “representatives” clearly do not represent them, or their values. Limbaugh couldn’t incite anyone to anything; he is soft and content with what he now has.
Thought that post was a quote of Gerson’s article when I first read it. Now know it is.
So, it’s Gershon who’s being “impractical and cruel”-—not to mention arrogant and out of touch!
Re your pic of Gerson.
He looks like a real leader in that picture, someone who has a duty to mold public opinion into the proper channels.
The look on his face reminds me of someone... another somewhat confused looking would-be leader... I’ve got it: Jeb!
Actually, Trump is going against a lot of conservative talk radio, and he is going to win the election. Your comments are very confused. The country is not rejecting Trump; liberals and RINOs are what they always are, and Trump is smoking them out.
