The Lyon College Scots get their first win since 1951 as they defeat Morthland College tonight by a final of 63-26!
Anyway, congrats.
Congratulations. But no time to rest on laurels, as you have to go to Muskogee to take on Bacone.

This is the first year that Morthland has had a team. It’s a tiny school in West Frankfort IL.
“Bring celebration to campus?” I’d be on my way, if I knew where this place is located. Because I assure you, there’s a celebration going on.
It’s in Arkansas if I remember correctly.
Just to set the record straight, they hadn’t competed in football since 1951. They started up again last year...
So it’s true this is the first win since 1951, but only because they haven’t played.
Even better! Despite their faults, Southerners know how to celebrate!

Just Yankee talk, don’t bother with it.
Or you could say they haven't lost in Football since '72...
