I originally posted about this 3 weeks ago, and followed up a few days after. I made a $50 donation to the Trump campaign on August 13 which was to get the personalized yard sign.
I posted here asking if anyone else had ordered one and had they received. Several freepers responded that they had ordered other items and sometimes it takes a while to receive, and if I do not get soon to send an email to the campaign. So I waited another week and sent a request.
To my surprise I received a reply back the same day, that it was on back-order due to the heavy demand and I would receive soon. Three days later I received another email that it had been shipped.
This is the original request from the Trump Campaign on August 13th.
"Jerry, we are making a limited number of one-of-a-kind, personalized yard signs available exclusively for our top supporters – and we’ve reserved one just for you.
You can claim your personalized yard sign immediately, by making a special contribution of $50 today.
The sign we have reserved for you will include the Trump for President logo, along with the words: SMART FAMILY FOR TRUMP.
Get Yours Today"
This is the response I got from my inquiry. "Your yard sign has been shipped and you should receive by the end of next week. Please let me know if you do not receive it. Sincere apologies for the delay.

And here is my email to them yesterday. "I have still not received my sign. Needless to say I am quite disappointed in the service. Please refund my $50 donation to the Trump campaign."
I still support the campaign and will still vote for Trump but no more donations to you from me. "I notice your email indicates you are with the GOP not directly from Trump. Rest assure I will be contacting Trump directly and letting him know."
MY mistake was that I did not notice when I made the donation that it was to the GOP. I have made over a dozen donations to donaldjtrump.com. since July, as I only give to the candidates directly and not the GOP (rinos).
Just wanted to alert everyone. I don't think this is a scam but just shows how inept is the GOP. I don't expect I will get a refund or the yard sign.

I learned to check the email return address. If it says GOP, I ignore it. If the item they’re hawking is not on Trump’s website, then I don’t need it :)
I had ordered a Tshirt, hat and signs from his website and they did arrive within two weeks. It was a very long two weeks !

It could be worse. Your credit card could have been charged multiple more times, without your knowledge or consent.
So your signs had your last name on them. Saying
****** family supports Trump Pence Make America Great Again.
Just wanting to make sure the signs you received were the same ones i ordered.
I have gotten umpteen emails from the RNC asking me to donate to Trump. I always respond the same way: “I always donate directly to the candidate of my choice.” I doubt my response was read by anyone.
