DETROIT (WJBK) - A woman's angry Facebook video about a house she bought through the Detroit Land Bank resulted in her arrest.
In the video, the woman pulls out a gun and shoots the house behind her, while holding a small child with a second child next to her. The profane tirade which includes her making threats lasts about nine minutes while a young boy next to her worriedly backs away after she shoots the house.
Detroit police say that the woman, Andrea Sheppard, was arrested Friday in Oakland County, one day after the video was posted on social media. She was not with her two children at the time she was taken into custody, police said adding that they are safe.

I think I understand why they couldn’t work with her. Those children need either an improved mom or a new one.
House Warming the Detroit Way
I would have won that bet.
So, in one month, she went from having a $1,000 net asset to a $19,000 debt, little chance of rehabilitating the property as no permits can be drawn on property set for demolition, and with both the demolition as well as the liens against the property, there's no way to get a loan to conduct repairs.
There's no way I'd last 6 months like she has dealing with these idiots. I wouldn't start shooting a house on facebook with my kids with me, either. But there's more than a bit of sympathy for the stupidity she has likely endured.
Whatever right she has to be angry, she was incredibly reckless to be holding one child and standing next to another one when waving a gun around and even firing it at a house. All it would take is one ricochet to turn such behavior into a tragedy.
Who decided she “won” a house in Detroit? We’re I her I do believe I would start my shooting in THEIR direction. How did she become eligible to “win” a house in Detroit? Just bizarre. I do believe there are “ prizes” (Dylan’s Nobel?) I would not bother to collect.
OTOH, maybe we could convince Hillary she “won” a cell in Joliet!
She bid on the (shell of) home in a blind auction for $1,000 and was the winning (losing) bidder.
If she bid on a home in Detroit she deserves it.
