Pope: Christmas reminds us that Jesus was a migrant

Yes, you remember when Jesus killed 130 people in Paris, and when he threatened to conquer the Vatican and behead the Pope himself, don’t you? Is the Pope actually saying that to be concerned about jihad terrorists and Sharia supremacists flooding into Europe with the migrant influx is tantamount to rejecting Jesus?

Is he saying that opposing this influx out of concern for one’s family and society makes one un-Christian? No wonder the Church is offering no help against the Muslim migrant influx, but only making sure the gates are flung open as wide as possible. For the Pope, apparently, the only acceptable definition of Christian charity is society and civilizational suicide.

Remember, this Pope has said that “we can speak today of an Arab invasion” of Europe — and it is one he is actively abetting. But the problem with the newcomers is not that they are Arabs, but that they are adherents of a violent and supremacist ideology that has a will to conquer and subjugate non-Muslim Europeans.

If they succeed, it will be in large part because of the ignorance, complacency, and willing help of Pope Francis and his minions.

“Leave them; they are blind guides. And if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.” (Matthew 15:14).

They were going for a census, he wasn’t a migrant or refugee. Has Francis even read the book?

Jesus was a migrant?

What version of the Bible is that in again?

I must have missed it the first time I read it...

He did have to flee to Egypt for a time. I suppose that made him a refugee.

However.......HE WENT BACK!

I hate to second-guess the judgement of a Pope - but NO, Jesus was not a migrant!

This sounds like typical Jesuit hogwash.

Remind you of anybody else in the world who spends his days spouting one form of mischief or other and his nights dreaming up tomorrow’s mischief? At least our US Poop leaves the field Jan 20 (formally. Sadly, he will NEVER go away.)

Looks like the pope-a-dope got the story wrong. The Holy Family wasn’t moving to Bethlehem for a new EBT card, to slice a few necks, and to rape the women. It was on the way to the census bureau to give information.

This man is a marxist in pope’s robes.

The Holy family were visiting Bethlehem, not migrating. Also, they may have fled to Egypt to escape Herod, but THEY RETURNED when the danger had passed. And not once is it recorded that Joseph demanded that the Egyptians provide everything for them and accommodate their culture/religion, way of life, etc...

Jesus a “migrant” at the direction of God, not self, not government leaders or evil doers creating wars.

“The sad experience of these brothers and sisters recalls that of baby Jesus, who at the time of his birth could not find a place to stay when he was born in Bethlehem,” the pope said Friday (Dec. 9) during a brief address in the Vatican’s Paul VI Hall. “He was then taken to Egypt to escape threats from Herod.” …
He’s not reading the Bible again, I see. Joseph and Mary were in Bethlehem because of Augustus Caesar’s census; everyone had to go back to their native city to be counted (Joseph and Mary both being of David’s line), and things got chaotic, understandably. It was also prophesied that the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem. And once Herod was dead, guess what?—Joseph took his family back home; he was no impoverished refugee, but paid his own way.

2ndDivisionVet :" They were going for a census, he wasn’t a migrant or refugee.

Jesus parents were complying with the law of their land
They didn't travel over international borders - because they were travelers, not illegal immigrants.
The Pope must be reading the United Nations revised bible !

He was a migrant... returning to the city of his Father... in response to a legal request at the time.
